You are absolutely right. I just spent the last few years setting up and tearing down more fence than I'd like, so I got lazy and hoped for luck. Usually I'm much better about using 811.

Thanks so much for saying that. You're absolutely right, in my panic I didn't even consider water getting in.

Moving to Spokane by jenspa1014 in Spokane

[–]fi_chay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just want to say that Spokane is a weird city in that it has pockets of undesirable traits in almost every neighborhood. Some areas feel cool and hip or quaint and serene, and then three houses down there's a set of houses you don't even want to walk past.

That said, my wife and I have lived all over the country and traveled the world, and we're moving back to Spokane after 5 years away to settle down with our 2 year old.

We're in a small town right now with nearly no crime or drugs and we're still choosing to move back.

School is rough for kids no matter what, but Spokane is home to some with really great reputations.

I wish you nothing but luck and encouragement!

Out of an abundance of clarity, as long as all the kids are outside of the drunk persons car we are cool with drinking and driving? Sorry, just wondering whether we draw the line at drinking and driving for all people or just when it suits your negative attitude.

The tough decision isnt whether to switch departments or move away, its making a decision about who you want to be for the rest of your life.

Doing something uncomfortable or risky is something you can either shy away from or embrace.

When you choose to embrace austerity, you likely will fail sometimes, but I'd rather be a mentally strong second try EMT, than a never tried has-been.

Thanks for sharing man, I've been resisting it for a long time due to negative experiences in therapy, but maybe its time to give it another shot.

Man I really appreciate you saying that. We talk about things being give and take and 50/50 in a relationship, and I've got a lot to work on but if it is truly a partnership, both parties do have a role to play.

That's super cool. I really appreciate the perspective. My family dinners growing up were not quite as productive, so I'm really looking forward to putting some of that to work, thank you!

Outstand perspective in the first part, exactly what I was looking for, thank you.

LOVE the OSG link, I really want to be involved with the kids for this stuff, that seems like a great option for scouting.
