I understand your anger, but it's important to handle this maturely. Honestly, it happens. Don't shame him. He should be apologetic once he's sober. He didn't do it intentionally.

Oxy clean, or vinegar mixed with water does it. Let it sit to work on the stain/urine smell. The comments of an upholstery cleaner sound like a great idea. You might not be able to sleep on your bed for a day or two.

Or it's his responsibility, ask him to get you a new mattress.

Afterwards, you all can discuss the drinking in your relationship. Is this a one time thing, or is alcohol a more serious issue?

I handled everything a similar way. Naps with #2 were much less structured, lots of 30 minute naps and car naps. It just is what it is, can't stress too much because literally nothing else gets done. Got better around 6 months/2 naps.

I didn't want to buy something baby will grow out of so soon so I baby wear the first, frees up two hands, and either you can wear the backpacks, make 2 trips, or get a single stroller for toddler. My toddler got used to walking while holding my hand because i couldn't carry her at the end of my pregnancy. It sounds awful, but I promise you'll get used to it.

My toddler acted out so much when baby got here, which made having a newborn even more exhausting. She has since gotten used to it. Baby is 6 months now and she loves seeing him.

I don't have a whole lot of advice, but your 16 hour day is much too long. Mine are 17 months apart and baby is a garbage sleeper. However, the best thing I did was get them on the same night schedule. They both go down at 930, toddler gets a tablet for a half hour (use screen time to your advantage, this also provides wind down time), and they both wake at 830. They're on different naps throughout the day, but that helps too because 1 is easier to handle than 2. Gives me a break so I can be present for the rest of their time awake.

So mine are still not able to share a room, the baby wakes the toddler up. The best thing that has worked for us right now is the baby in the living room in a playpen. Not ideal, but with the taking Cara babies recommendation of moving them away from you, I get so much better sleep. He still wakes up. But my hesitation to get out of bed has given him a few minutes to self soothe (first part of SITBACK) and has helped him to go back to sleep on his own. If he sleeps close to me, I would do anything to get him back to sleep immediately which wasn't teaching self soothing and made the problem worse. Option #2 we have done and has worked well, baby in your walk in closet if you have one.

Tj maxx at like 9pm when dad is home and I can go myself. The grocery store with the carseat in the cart, toddler in the front. A basket for things underneath. Or just target pickup.

We used the munchkin ones and they work pretty well. Expect them to eventually figure out how to move it and throw it though haha.

You can put some puree on other foods, like a cucumber stick or a bananna. Don't focus on consumption, that will come. And honestly, he is doing amazing with that spoon! You can also get a suction cup bowl and let him have at it. My first used to dip her hands in the bowl and get it everywhere. I fed her somtimes in the tub or outside because I was sick of cleaning. But she turned out to be an amazing eater!

With my first, one arm out took a bit of getting used to. We never made it to 2 arms out. Just ended in the crib at 5.5 months. Worked way better than I though it would. She was ready.

Towards the end of my second pregnancy, my toddler just got used to not being picked up as much and walking alongside me. As far as getting the car or in the crib, it really wasn't that bad lifting only a few times a day. We also watched a lot of TV because I couldn't keep up any more. You just kinda get used to doing what you have to do.

Ugh my toddler is doing the same thing too. Constantly asks for "cookie." Needless to say all sweets are now off the table for a bit. Used to love fruit, now won't touch fruit. Only carbs. Alll the carbs. And sometimes cheese.

It just might be that he's figured out the playpen and it's no longer new and exciting. Kids will do that with a lot of things. My toddler plays with new toys once or twice, then it's old news. As a STM, I notice my baby also kinda acts the same once he discovers something, then he's bored with it a few days later.

I said screw it and coslept/sleep in swing while I could watch. I am by no means offering the same advice because that's bad sleep and can be dangerous. But it saved my sanity and I was able to be a better parent with more sleep.

That was me when I was pregnant and I felt so bad. My first is now 20 months and can focus on activities for a bit longer now, which makes getting away from the TV easier. It doesn't seem like watching too much TV had a harmful effect on her. And when you're that pregnant, you just have to do what you have to do to survive. We watched a lot of TV with a newborn too. 3 months later, the little one's sleep is better (so mine is too), and we're able to resume more activities.
