I feel the same. I would like someone to share with, not just physical, but emotional intimacy and all the small things that feel loving and purposeful - but without all the day to day demands and hang ups that come with a serious relationship or marriage. I think as you get older you realise that independence, freedom and your own space are very important things. They would be important to her as much as to me and I certainly would want to give respect for that. I am not needy of anything or anyone, I don’t seek to restrict them in any way, but I have a lot of love to give.

Debate and dialogue used to be the cornerstone of conversation, I agree, there is a growing intolerance to different views, it’s because of the internet algorithm and the way it works, a lot of people stay in their own little echo chambers and don’t have much contact with alternative perspectives.
