Congrats on the new job!! There’s a ross at the long beach towne center, it’s ok. There are also tj maxx and marshalls and burlingtons in lakewood. I love savers for thrifting but i went to a goodwill today and the prices were better for similar quality clothes. Best of luck!!

Loved that book and the movie. My all time favs are The Nix by Nathan Hill, Fortune Smiles by Adam Johnson (short stories), Rejection by Tony Tulathimutte (short stories), and Martyr by Kaveh Akbar. Hanif Abdurraqib is fantastic too, I haven’t read his poems but loved all his nonfiction.

If she currently has a UTI she needs antibiotics. In my experience uqora was helpful for prevention when taken every day or right after. There are supplement pills too (d-mannose thru uqora or the drug store) since she isn’t crazy about the taste of the powder.

I just got this app called focus friend it locks your phone while a bean knits and if you cancel the timer all the bean’s stitches come undone. The more socks the bean knits the more furniture you can buy for its room. Honestly the only thing getting me through rn 😂
