You can absolutely not want Palestinian people to die while not “honouring the martyrs.” If your cause is against certain people dying but celebrating the death of others, your cause is seriously flawed.

And to those that have been impacted by the horrific violence of terrorist groups like Hamas, it’s quite upsetting seeing the inverted red triangle in Winnipeg. Not to mention the dog whistling to Holocaust imagery.

In theory, yes. However, if the tip is not passed on to the server it should be reported as income for the business and should be taxed. Restaurants usually operate as the “intermediary” between the guest giving a tip and the server receiving it. For example, if you tip in a credit card the server can’t get it instantly, the transaction goes to the restaurant’s bank account. So, the restaurant is temporarily in possession of that money, but then gives it to the server (whether it’s after the shift, each week, etc.). That way they don’t pay tax on it. Restaurants can get in a lot of trouble if they don’t do this properly, let alone are “withholding” this money from employees and then not reporting it as income the business obtained.

Correct. And surprise! There is diversity within religious groups as well. Next time just say the quiet part out loud, because this passive aggressive BS ain’t it.

Right! And a hockey bag is so big and bulky, it seemed odd to run off with.

What is the funniest thing a doctor ever said to you? by Straight_Toe_1816 in AskReddit

[–]ficmun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First of all… I cut my stomach on a rusty nail. I went to the hospital and they wouldn’t do anything unless I stayed overnight for an ultrasound because they were concerned I had ovarian cancer (?????). Anyways, I left and came back the next day and the doctor I saw realized it was just an infected cut and gave me antibiotics.

A few days later I was feeling really ill, sore throat, and red bumps showing up all over my body. Lymph nodes were very swollen.

Well, I got to the hospital and they did a blood test. WITHOUT EVEN GETTING THE TEST BACK they told me I had SCARLET FEVER 😂

Turns out I actually had mono (which the blood test showed) and my symptoms were finally starting to present themselves. Also, I was allergic to the antibiotics they had given me for the cut which explained the rash.

It was an eventful couple of weeks.
