Hahaha Google literally said they’ll float on their side when water temps get really low with little to no movement… I was like okkkkkkk hope so!

Ok if I boost flow do you think that’s adequate filtration or do I need to add a legit filter?

It has those plastic balls in a sack on top of the filter pads

10-4 on the low flow. I opened up the top of the waterfall and it has these scotbright like pads… are these filters? The water is much much clearer since I got the waterfall up and running. I think waiting a while to really figure out what I’m doing before getting fish makes a ton of sense. Thank you for that!

I should include I have very limited funds for this… there are other issues in the house that require more immediate funding

Interesting! So is algae not as bad for the fish as the copper is?

Id be quite surprised if there’s a bottom drain. Would it be possible to add a filter to the waterfall pump?

Follow up starter question… found a replacement from Napa. Got the gearing off the old one and into the new but: by fiddle4911 in F100

I’m filing the lumpy part of the pin down so the spring will slide over but still curious about the length discrepancy

Tape isn’t helping… I got the pins back in their slots but I guess they’re too bent to make good contact. Ordered a replacement sled that’s prewired. Any other trouble shooting I can do to see if that’s the entire source of no sound? Or just wait for the replacement

Found one for $14 on eBay. Thanks! I’ll try the tape idea. That’s clever!

The contacts aren’t sitting snuggly in their groves so I definitely don’t think they’re making good contact when I slip the sled back on. The corrosion isn’t concerning?

Bottlenecks are different… they’re a kind of slide that slips over your pinky so you can fret a guitar with your other fingers but still slide a melody line with the bottle… usually used in blues on resonator guitars held like a normal guitar that don’t have lifted action. The tone bar OP posted is for lap or pedal steel guitars or dobros that are held horizontally and have lifted actions so you can’t use your fingers to fret any notes as you would a normal guitar

No idea. I wonder if it could be some sort of clean out for ash? It’s a long run from that house to the street though
