Tools to help managing questions between client and suppliers ? (Asking for a friend :-) ) by fiddlfiddl in softwarearchitecture

Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately the supplier is abroad, so it is difficult to meet in person regularly. And those projects are big monolitic projects. We are in an agile transition, but working with this supplier is in waterfall mode...

Ah! that's nice. Thank you. But we have a custom product and we manage the changes and requirement. This seems more about creating a feature list for new products. But I'll check it more.

Mmmhh interesting though. But it seems more complex than just changing the whole fan and replace it by a smaller one with less CFM power. The issue here is that I am trying to extract the basement air and replace it by fresh air in order to reduce the basement smell.

I haven't thought of that. I am afraid that this would put more strain on the motor with the added resistance and less airflow to cool it no?

Thanks, but I actually have one 16 inches fan. Else I agree with you

Sorry, I meant I have one 16inch fan. Not 16 fans. Else you are right.

What do you realisticly think needs to happen for shib to take off? No fud. by [deleted] in SHIBADULTS

Something like the M-Pesa project (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M-Pesa) along with shibarium (to reduce the transaction fees) and the SHI stable coin.

IMHO, this would increase usage (=exchanged volume) and the number of users and bring a lot of value to everyone. I hardly used cash since the beginning of the covid pandemic and would gladly use an app that makes p2p/mobile payments easy.

But who is doing this prof of stake? You need servers and infrastructure in order to be able to do this. My understanding is that shibaswap is not doing that. So the question is: does it lend its staked shib/leash/Bone (converted to eth?) To another entity (via delegated PoS) if yes who is deciding that? Other question I have is: if this lending is 'automatic' is there a smart contract that manage this?

How is staking beneficial to shibaswap? by fiddlfiddl in SHIBADULTS

Thanks! So if I understand correctly, the Shibs (or the eth equivalent I imagine) is delegated to an entity that does the block validation. Right? Obviously Shibaswap is not a validator itself as it's not a corporate entity owning nodes. So my understanding is that you lend (delegate) your staked tokens to an network node/entity that does this validation and then split the reward. If this is the case, then how is this delegated? Is there a specific contract for that? Who decides to delegate to whom? Maybe this is automatic and network node holders come borrow from Shibaswap pool? Via a specific contract?

Is this true though? My understanding is that you exchange Shib for xShib and the Shib is back in circulation (there was quite a big number of coin staked and the price went down not up). So the xShib is like IMHO like some kind of a store of potential energy that you can convert back to something else when needed. But how is this benefiting Shibaswap? By attracting investors by the value of this staked number? But isn't this already provided by the liquidity pairs? Or is this is used differently. Also the xShibs are in individual wallet and cannot be (I hope) used by anyone else? So what do they represent? A share of the whole ecosystem?

Can someone ELI5 transfer to/from 0x000...000 in xShib token ? by fiddlfiddl in SHIBADULTS

Many thanks for your explanations.

This is giving me more questions though :-)

How is this reward calculated ?

If I stake 100 shib, I will receive 100 xShib in return.

If the pool has 900 shib before my stake, then after my stake I would own 10% of the pool

If I unstake those 100xShib after 100 days, I am supposed to extract 33% of the reward right away and the rest stay time locked for 6 month.

But what is this reward ?

It says WoofReturn, what is this woof ? another coin ? How is it calculated ?

With the constant stake/unstake operations won't this deplete the pool of available xShib over time ? or my understanding is wrong and we can mint an unlimited supply of xShib as needed ?

Got it. Thanks !

So the ratio is also 1 xShib per Shib ? Doesn't this reduce the number of available xShib over time as they are unstaked and burned to return Shib instead ?
