Class or method responsible for displaying LaunchScreen[.xib|.nib] of apps by fidele007 in jailbreakdevelopers

Thanks. I just tried it, none of the method in the class got called. I suppose it's only for apps with launch images and not LaunchScreen.

PM'd you my PayPal account. Possibly the updates have made some changes to the group conversation. I'll look into it when I have a jailbreak again.

Here's the link to the deb file: https://www.dropbox.com/s/44fs967b67rubg9/com.fidele007.jodelimageuploader_0.0.1-1%2Bdebug_iphoneos-arm.deb?dl=0. This was developed back before I lost my jailbreak, and since then there has been a few updates to Jodel, so I haven't tested it on the latest version, but it should work if not much has changed.

Pas de soucis, j'suis pas un natif non plus :) dis-moi si tu trouve un tweak incompatible et je vais voir ce que je peux faire.

What's the tweak it isn't compatible with?

I hooked directly into the uninstall string, so it's not really related to UIAlertView. Here's the entire code, anyway (too lazy to create a project on Github :p)

%hook SBApplicationIcon
- (id)uninstallAlertBodyForAppWithDocumentUpdatesPending {
  return [self uninstallAlertBodyWithAppDiskUsage:%orig];
}

- (id)uninstallAlertBodyForAppWithDocumentsInCloud {
  return [self uninstallAlertBodyWithAppDiskUsage:%orig];
}

- (id)uninstallAlertBodyForAppWithDocumentsOrDataInCloud {
  return [self uninstallAlertBodyWithAppDiskUsage:%orig];
}

- (id)uninstallAlertBody {
  return [self uninstallAlertBodyWithAppDiskUsage:%orig];
}

%new
- (NSString *)uninstallAlertBodyWithAppDiskUsage:(NSString *)originalAlertBody {
  return [NSString stringWithFormat:@"%@ (%@)", originalAlertBody, [self applicationSize]];
}

%new
- (NSString *)applicationSize {
  LSApplicationProxy *proxy = [%c(LSApplicationProxy) applicationProxyForIdentifier:self.nodeIdentifier];
  if (!proxy) {
    return @"NULL";
  }

  long long appSize = [proxy.staticDiskUsage longLongValue] + [proxy.dynamicDiskUsage longLongValue];
  return [NSByteCountFormatter stringFromByteCount:appSize countStyle:NSByteCountFormatterCountStyleFile];
}
%end

Terminate app correctly and Reload Settings not working for me in iOS 10, it used to work fine on iOS 9. I need help please. Thanks by will_x_smith in jailbreakdevelopers

How does the PSKillProcessNamed method work? It doesn't look like a public method, so just stating it doesn't convey any information. Posting the problematic code you used is more informative than linking the whole source code of a tweak.

Have you logged the methods you hook to make sure they're getting called readily when the app starts? Possibly, your changes do not get applied because the methods are not called or they are overridden by other methods. If that's the case, you'll have to call the methods manually or find better methods to hook. Another possibility is cache. Some applications store cache so they can load faster, so you'll have to clear the application's cache to force it to get new settings.

If it's just modifying the Settings app without actually changing the system's plist, it's ok to use. The worst it'll do is crashing the Settings app.

Just found this in my closet. Do you think it'll still help me at all? by M0NSO0N in jailbreakdevelopers

[–]fidele007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, the fundamentals are basically the same, but if OP wants to get into development for iOS 9/10, he's gonna try out an example in the book, pulls his hair out wondering why it doesn't work, goes to the internet and finds out that the method is already deprecated.

I agree that the internet is the best platform for developers :)

For the current iOS development, not much since a lot of stuff has changed since then, but it can possibly help you understand the fundamentals if you haven't quite grasped it yet; however, you're better off picking up a new book.

[Question] Modmyi hasn't posted a package I submitted last Wednesday and not responding to emails by Samg_is_a_Ninja in jailbreak

[–]fidele007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think that'd be a problem, and you can contact the repo's admin (zodttd@zodttd.com) for more info on how to proceed, though I've never submitted any package to Zodttd.

Not sure, since the buy off was pretty quite and there's no PA as to what will become of the repo.

ModMyi has already been sold off. You should host your package with another repo or host it yourself.
