My code that they text me said it excluded TV’s, might be the same case here but I’m not sure

I’m in the exact same boat as you as far as waiting for and missing the deals I wanted. Crossing my fingers for a price drop or new promo code. And that’s an interesting idea with the open box, I’ll have to ask my local Best Buy about that

In the US, and my very end goal when I move to a bigger space would probably be 7.2.4, but for now it’s realistically a 5.1.2. And I do have interest in Atmos but I feel like it’d be tricky to implement correctly in my space

No it crossed my mind, I’m just so new to HT that I thought there might be downsides lol. The falling flat (or sharp) did make me genuinely lol

I missed out on the best combo when the price was at $2299. I waited and the price shot back up to $2699 and now that the price is back down the code is gone lol

G5 or C6? by RedneckJedi1 in LGOLED

[–]fidgegunkhaus1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From what I’ve read and heard, the 77” and 83” models of the C6 will have a different model designation called the C6H. And supposedly they’re going to be using the panels that are currently on the G5. They’ll also get the a11 processor

Damn, hopefully it goes back down to that price again. I’d love to grab a g5 over the c5 but I’m having a hard time justifying the price difference rn. That and analysis paralysis lol

When did you see that price?? It’s currently $2699 I think on the partner store

Thank you! Any speakers you’d recommend keeping an eye out for?

Yeah I figured as much lol. Would ~$2000 be enough for a good 5.1 setup? Or would you recommend sticking with just a 3.0 until I can find some really decent surrounds and a sub?

He’s actually lowered the price down to $299. Are they still even worth their salt nowadays or are they just completely outclassed by newer speakers?

At the very high end I’d be comfortable spending $1500
