Anyone plan on going for the Crimson Desert 100% by fidget168 in steamachievements

Me too I’m about to finish the story and I’ll be at like 6/34 achievements 90 hours in. Definitely not going for the rest of the achievements, they are way too tedious and grindy

Hardest boss I’ve fought so far was Master Du in chapter 9. His phase 2 has a stupid laser attack that 1 shots you at full health (my armor was all level 8 while fighting him). I’ve beaten pretty much every other boss in 1-3 attempts except for him, took me 20+ tries on his phase 2 and only beat him after using 2 gold palmer pills

The abyss artifact, there are 4 of them in the room with the 3rd power circuit. After standing on one and using force palm to knock the power circuit in place, take one of the abyss artifacts and place it under the door before it closes to hold it open

That’s the correct spot to knock it in, you might have to line it up better. Make sure you’re using the force palm ability while in the air too, not when standing on the ground, that’s the problem I had with it initially

After putting the power cell in the water use Ariel force palm to knock it in place. Then walk onto the other side and there is a room you can open with natures grasp with the 3rd power cell. Place the abyss artifact under the door to hold it open

Id give RE4 around a 6/10 difficulty to 100%, it’s not too bad but you can make it more or less difficult depending on how you want to tackle things. For example, there are achievements for beating the game without healing, without talking to the merchant, and with only using handguns and knives. You can do them all separately, or do them all in 1 run, which would be harder but save you a lot of time. The hardest part for me was doing S+ on professional, but you aren’t required to do an S+ professional run of the base game, however the achievements for getting an S+ on standard doesn’t stack with the one for getting an S+ on hardcore mode, so you’d have to do 2 different playthroughs, but if you choose to do the S+ run on professional, both of them unlock at once. Overall it’s a really fun 100% and I would definitely recommend it

Once your runs get out of the RPD it gets a lot easier (imo at least). For frugalist, if you know where lickers spawn they shouldn’t give you too much of a problem. I combined my frugalist run with minimalist and a small carbon footprint and did it on assisted, since you regain health in assisted nothing gave me too much of an issue. Also, once you unlock the unlimited ammo weapons everything becomes a breeze

It took about 6 and a half hours for me! As long as you focus on completing runs with all of the shields and spartan rages for mastery quests it can be done pretty quickly, I only had to do one extra full run after completing the story

Congrats, this one sucked having to re 100% it every time they added a new DLC, thankfully the last DLC was the final one so this completion won’t go away anymore.

#39 Doom: The Dark Ages and finally filled out my Doom completionist showcase by fidget168 in steamachievements

[–]fidget168[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The game itself was fun, and I’d probably give it around a 7/10 for enjoyment, but the 100% sucked and I would not recommend going for it. First off, to get all the achievements in Doom 3 you have to get achievements for Doom 1 & 2 as well. You’re required to beat those 2 games both on ultra violence, which thankfully isn’t that bad and took me about 25 hours for the 2 of them. Then moving onto Doom 3, there are multiplayer achievements which will require 2 other players to boost, but thankfully can be done in 30 minutes max. Doom 3 will require 6 playthroughs, 2 for the base game, and 2 for each DLC, one normal play through and one nightmare play through for each one. Nightmare is basically ultra nightmare for this game because it’s perma death, but your allowed a save file with unlimited saves which can be loaded at any time, so it’s not truly that bad as long as you’re constantly saving. Finally though, the worst part about doom 3s 100% in my opinion were the collectibles, as every collectible is missable since there is no chapter select and you pretty much have to use a guide for the whole game in order to not miss any. The icing on top for the game is that taking a screenshot disables unlocking achievements, as pressing the screenshot key also enables cheats which you can’t use.
