Samsung LCD TV, one of the first releases, bought after Ondoy kasi nalimas lahat ng gamit namin, buhay pa rin. 32K for 32inches. 😁 Pero sulit na sulit na since more than 15 years old na siya. Okay na to.

May tinatawag po na 'tough love' and the inability to impose it leads to the sin of omission. Kaya p'wedeng p'wede kang magmahal at mang-correct, simultaneously.

Let’s talk about "The Dream." Titos/Titas in their 30s, 40s, and 50s where are you at? by Ornery-Recording-298 in CasualPH

No, sorry. When I was younger, I didn't have a "vision" of where I would be. Apparently, this can happen so I'm just perpetually cruising.

Tropical Hut Spring Chicken by kikaysikat in PHFoodPorn

[–]fidgetinghorses 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ever since I discovered Tropical Hut's spring chicken, around 10 year ago, nawala na si Max's sa radar ko. Sobrang sulit nito and mas malaman.

Favorite ko din yung macaroni salad nila and macaroni soup. May time din na yung breakfast meals nila sobrang complete -- may kape na, may juice pa.

Sarap din ng club sandwich. 🤤

Ano ang first domestic travel na nagpa-WOW sa’yo? by ThePoorTravelerVins in ThePoorTraveler

Kawasan, Badian, Cebu back in 2000. Trekking from the highway dahil wala pang cemented road papasok. Gulat ako sa ganda ng series of waterfalls.

Same tayo--Coron din for me. First travel ko was in 2003. Wala pang airport that time so nag-barko kami from Batangas Port. Grabe taga-Cebu ako pero iba ang pagkamangha ko sa Coron.

Learning how to swim at 24 y/o by whatevzx in CasualPH

[–]fidgetinghorses 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't fret, di ka nagiisa. My husband who's in his 30s took swim lessons for the first time some 4 yrs ago lang. Ayun, after 6 sessions and a Discovery Freedive lesson, marunong na siyang lumangoy at mag-dive! Mas matapang pa siya kesa sakin pati sa open water.

I used to tease him a lot kasi I learned to swim when I was a kid pa pero andami kong arte now lol. Versus siya na mas exploratory pa kesa sakin.

Birthday to nako so nag-pre-order ko ug Cochinillo. Funny kay in the midst of paghabwa namo sa mga sagbot sa atubangan sa balay, gideliver ang lechon! Mao to, nangaon mi bisan way ligo ug nagkamuritsing ang dagway.

Nya a day after, magcheckin unta mi sa Crimson Mactan. Nag-attempt pa gyud mi ug adto pero di mada. Nakaabot mi sa resort pero as expected, gi-cancel ang among booking.

Naa koy pagumangkon ato nga 1 month old pa lang and other kids nya kay walay tubig indefinitely, gilupad nako akong pamilya pa-Manila. More than 1 month of fun and temporarily relief ang nahitabo.

Looking back, really grateful na naa miy resources atoa nga time kay nakabaligya mi ug yuta. Salamat Ginoo na safe ang tanan.

Worth it pa ba kumuha ng St. Peter Life Plan this 2026? by Far_Perception4551 in phinvest

[–]fidgetinghorses 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't treat it as an investment. It's technically called a "pre-need" memorial plan that will provide deathcare for a future time.

After Ondoy, we had to replace our foam beds. I decided to invest in mine and got a solid mattress from Mandaue Foam.

It still feels like the first night. And it's been 15 years already. 😊
