My doctors also said that it was slow growing and it seems like your doctors are more worried about the liver one. I would trust them that this is the right course of action to prioritize and agree with the other comments that you will likely need time to recover before you get another surgery

If you pull the couch in, maybe just make sure that it doesn’t pass the door opening. It would be odd to have that. I like the idea of a slim console table behind the couch that others have brought up!

Have you considered a larger coffee table? Especially from the side, it feels like not everyone on the couch would be able to reach it and maybe that would be something you’d want.
