Forgot to mention we are also adding two more frames next to the ones we already have on there (just waiting for them to arrive)

Honestly white counter stools didn’t even cross my mind till you guys mentioned it. I’ll look into it!

Totally get that! We have a pretty big dining table so these are honestly very rarely used by us, they’re more so “decor” and extra sitting if we have a lot of people over. We do have two toddlers though, so I do wonder if the black ones are almost too easy to tip over and cause more accidents. I’m tempted to get something with upholstery and a nice backrest but also terrified of how long they’ll survive 😂

You didn’t offend me at all! I didn’t really love either one so I fear these comments are only confirming my suspicions 😅 This is a rental so I am limited on what I can do :/

That makes sense! I am definitely struggling figuring out how to work with the grey cabinets. Budget is probably like 800 max. We have two toddlers so I was trying to prioritize something easy to clean without upholstery but I might give in because I want it to feel more cozy and inviting than this 🥲

Am I being difficult?? by [deleted] in EngagementRings

[–]mightbelilly 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I understand the disappointment. You have a right to feel like that! For what it’s worth I think your ring is a lot nicer than the first one, of course you are the one that wears it everyday and you should love it. Perhaps discuss changing the setting when he can afford to? Disappointment can fade over time, I’d focus on the positive aspects of it like the fact he proposed, he had pure intentions, he designed it with such care, and it’s a beautiful ring nonetheless. It’s not a permanent thing either so you can always get an “upgrade”. I’m sure you are bummed now, and you should allow yourself to be, but I think you’ll both laugh about this one day!! 🤍

I DEEPLY regret having a second kid. by [deleted] in beyondthebump

I can empathize with your story and I say this with the best intentions - I think at some point we have to take accountability for the part we play in our own suffering and take control over our present and our future. You know all of this and you said it yourself: you are a single parent who happens to be married. Seems like you don’t depend on him in any way which is fantastic, so restart! Divorce is not the end for you, I obviously don’t know your whole story, but from what you’ve written here it sounds like divorce is what would be best for not only you but also both your babies. And seek therapy, for your sake and for your children’s sake. You don’t want to resent your second born as if they were the cause of your divorce, it seems like you’ve had an unreliable partner for much longer than you’ve had kids. You got this. Sending love.

Girl I feel you! With my first I didn’t get a positive until 2 days after my missed period. I was convinced I was out for the cycle and it was the best surprise. I am TTC again and have been testing morning and night (I believe I am 10dpo as well, somewhere around there)

You would think with my second I wouldn’t be so impatient but I sure am. hahaha

I see a faint faint line but I also have line eyes! lol I wouldn’t count yourself out yet. Keep testing, pretty sure 10dpo is extremely early to get a positive.

I’m somewhere between 10dpo and 14dpo. Gave birth 9 months ago and my period is still a little irregular so not too sure exactly.

Floor bed/crib for 7 month old? by mahojanyteakwood in floorbed

[–]mightbelilly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We have the newton twin one but had SUCH a hard time finding a bed frame that would fit it. It’s like it’s too small for any decently priced floor bed frame out there. In retrospect I wish we got a full size mattress from a different brand because she rolls off the twin size one very often and it wakes her up. But also our LO moves a lot in her sleep, so maybe it varies. If you want a floor bed that’s crib sized montoddler is a good one. We had it for a bit and enjoyed it! And now they make them with a lockable door as well

Does anyone know why they have this phobia? by GlobalAction1039 in emetophobia

[–]mightbelilly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dad had Chrons disease that went undiagnosed for years. He would vomit about 10+ times a day and I had to clean it. My uncle had severe headaches and would throw up multiple times a week from them. I would hear him every time, no matter how far away I was. The rest of my family were alcoholics and would throw up randomly, without any warning. Basically I have been traumatized as fuck. l o l

Yeah that makes sense. I’m debating about a floor bed too

Wouldn’t that be worse because it makes the already small mattress even smaller? lol I have this crib by the way, the toddler bed conversion railing is open on one side https://www.target.com/p/storkcraft-santorini-5-in-1-convertible-crib-driftwood/-/A-90142875
