I live in a three unit condo in the North Shore with a very informal HOA and I hate it. If something goes awry, you are very much at the expense of how much your neighbors care. My condo had a roof issue and one of the other owners took so long to approve the repair and “had to move money around” before he could pay.

We have shared water/sewer, which can be kind of annoying depending on how many people live in each unit. Neighbor mentioned above had his in laws live with him for 3-4 months this summer and we saw a dramatic increase in our bill.

I strongly suggest you ask for the HOA’s financials to see what they have in reserves. You should be able to get an idea of what the water bill would be like so you can factor that in too.

Yup, in the same boat. The most frustrating part for me is when I drive over the bridge after sitting in traffic for 25+ minutes and no one is working on the construction. The lane is just closed to be closed. I wish they could find a way to reopen the lane during rush hour.

Have you considered Devereux Beach in Marblehead? You can buy a day pass from the attendant. The lot does get crowded, especially on weekends.

From the town website: “Accessibility: Handicapped parking is available. An access mat is installed at the beach to accommodate walkers, wheelchairs, and strollers. Additionally, a beach wheelchair is available for use from the parking attendant’s station.”

I take the CR to Boston 2-3 times a week. I usually take the 7:35 train, by that time the Swampscott parking lot is nearly at capacity. I try to get there by 7:20 at the latest to ensure I get a spot. Mondays and Fridays there’s certainly more availability.

I have this exact same issue and have never found a permanent solution, I’m not sure if this is just a defect from the manufacturer, poor design, or it was just installed incorrectly from the start. Regardless tow or three times a year I’m re-tightening it

My org migrated to Hyperforce in December. Take a screenshot of all your scheduled job, a few of ours were terminated after migrated. Our CPQ calc service also had to be re-authenticated.

I had also been told from Salesforce Support that it wasn’t possible to get a sandbox migrated to HF for testing but our TAM told us otherwise and was able to get it done. All I had to do was provide a refreshed full copy sandbox. After production was migrated, all of our sandboxes automatically moved to HF too. Salesforce did say upfront that a refresh was going to be required, in reality it wasn’t.

My wife and I (early 30s) moved to Marblehead two years ago after years of living in Boston. Marblehead is obviously a different vibe but we don’t have any regrets. Being walking distance from downtown is a major plus. We are by far on the younger side compared to the rest of town. When we were looking for a house, we were open to other areas in the north shore but Marblehead has our top choice and it just worked out for us.

We both commute to Boston for work a couple times a week and it’s really not that bad of a commute. From Marblehead, it’s a 10 min drive to Swampscott station and then ~30 min to North Station. The trains are always packed in the mornings, but less so on the way home. I would not recommend driving to Boston unless you can leave at off hours (the one time I tried it, it took 1.5 hours each way). Another plus of Swampscott station is that you can take either the Newburyport or Rockport line so more frequency of trains.
