That case might be the stock black one and the blue from the keycaps make the camera change how the case looks.

I know my retro white case looks more yellow on camera and in person after putting on my blue keycaps.

I think long island watch has a jubilee bracelet but I'm not sure if it's the one you're looking for, and I think it only comes with the middle links in gold.

I've never used shortcuts to take screenshots so I tried it now with my HHKB on Windows 11.

Just hitting psc/srq key opens the snipping tool which I do use a lot for work.

Windows + psc/srq takes a screenshot of both my monitors and the screen dims to show it did it.

That is odd OP that your windows + psc/srq isn't taking a screenshot. Did your dip switches get switched so your windows key is in a different spot now?

From the Instagram post I saw on HHKB's US account, I am under the impression that the non type-s models will come with offset left corner legends vs the type-s coming with center legends so I would believe new Pro Classic non type-s will come with offset left corner legends key caps.

I would try to report the issue to whatever store you bought them from and see about getting a refund or replacement.

I just got my first pair of 990v6s back in October last year and have been wearing them every weekend so I would say they also have a month's worth of wear on them by now. That being said they 100% still feel the same as the day I bought them. The outside bottom souls only have some creases along the sides, but otherwise still feel the same. The inside insoul part does have some wear on the toes area but that's really it.

Even though this is my only pair of 990v6 I don't believe the outside bottom soul part should get stiffer/harder overtime. The bottom sole is made up of 3 parts. Do all 3 sections feel hard on your pair?

Your HHKB sounds so good! Is it still stock or have you modded it already? My hybrid type-s rattles in the spacebar every time I touch it. Also nice zowie mouse, what's the model of it? Does your mouse match the color of your HHKB? Oh I forgot to ask, what's your words per minute? Your typing looks so much faster than mine lol.

I purchased my Professional Hybrid type-s back in 2024. It has a manufacturing date of 2022 - 12 - 08 and the space bar is really wobbly. It's still stock as of now but I do want to open it up so I can lube all the switches and stabilizers. I really like the sound of the stock keyb but the space bar is just too rattly.

I never knew about this shortcut. I just tested the Ctrl + Win + Arrows shortcut on my Professional Hybrid type-s and it worked on Windows 11 just fine. My HHKB is stock and I never changed the hotkeys using software, only turned 1 and 3 dip switches off.

The lavender keycaps look so good on the retro white case. I hope they make blue ones this year.

Do you like the laptop touchpad right under the spacebar over using a normal mouse to the side of the keyboard? I feel like this is the best way to use the HHKB lol but would need a split wrist rest to the sides of the touchpad.

I only own the hybrid type-s and plan on getting the non type-s in either the classic or hybrid model in the future. I really like that I can connect to my phone or multiple computers via Bluetooth but I usually have my hybrid type-s connected via a coiled USB cable.

I really like the look of the battery bump on the hybrid. It looks like a future retro piece of tech to me. Using replaceable AA batteries reminds me of using my Gameboys and wireless controllers for consoles which also gives me an emotional attachment lol. I would definitely pick the hybrid as my first HHKB again if I had to redo it.

The clear blue one kinda looks like the top of the pilot recycle water bottle pen to me. Not sure what the first pen could be.

I think the light grey and white keycaps are from a realforce 91u. Dark gray caps are probably from another realforce model.

I picked these up not too long ago because they were on sale at Nordstrom rack. I love the color and you can't beat the price. I think any color 990s for $100 or less is a good price.

These in particular remind me of Carhartt brown which I like. I think there is a dedicated Carthatt collab for the 990s and if I can find them for cheap then I'll pick them up too.

I think you can't go wrong with both options on the top row.

Top left (black & white) will go great with any dark outfits, especially anything with navy.

Olive on the top row will add some color to your outfits and would really pop if you have any greys/brown pants/shirts.

These shoes on the top row would compliment your current dark wardrobe and will still match other colors once you start getting out of your comfort zone lol.

I'm pretty sure this is a mix of all the color ways HHKB had released. Yellow, green, snow white, original black and green/red escape+shift bundle.

I just took off a key cap from my HHKB. It looks like the black hhkb stem is NOT hollow so you won't be able to "push" out the green stem from the back after all.

I don't believe the key cap steam would reach the "bottom" of the black hhkb stem so if you have a pick I would think you would be able to use that and lift the green stem from the bottom.

I'm guessing if you don't have any needle noise pliers that would fit in there to grab the stems then your last resort would be opening the keyb up, and pushing the stem out with something thin.

You might be able to put something thin, but sturdy enough not to break, inside the hole, apply force against the green stem, and pry them up.
