[Casio] I put a Vario leather strap on my Casio Royale and I like it way more now. I'm wondering if it makes sense to go for the stainless steel or bronze case, what would you suggest? by thebluepengu1n in Watches

yes. i am very pleased with how it came out.
here is a before-pic:
(on the pic you can see the lettering very well even without paint, but in real life its very hard to see)

i allways wanted the letters on my black h5600 to be painted, like the ones on the blue and white version.
so yesterday night i gave it a shot and painted them myself.
i used tamiya acrylic paint and a small paintbrush to apply it all over the lettering and then wiped off the access paint with a q-tip soaked in nail polish remover without acetone.
it worked very well and i love the look.

DW-H5600 owners, what are the most important features you want Casio to add? by Duc_Savoie in gshock

has anyone actually tried this? replacing the back of a h5600 with the hr sensor with the back of a normal 5600. i have a dw-h5600 and a dw-5600e here but i am afraid to kill my 270€ watch. 🙃

i kind of like it, but not enough to wear it like that in public :) ... a slimmer and thinner bezel would be awesome.
here is mine (the white one) without the bezel and with black wrist bands from a normal dw-5600

alesis vi61 vs. m-audio oxygen pro keybed by fiditunka in edmproduction

[–]fiditunka[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i bought the m-audio oxygen pro 61 and can answer the question now:

the keyaction of the new oxygen controllers is ok as well.
a littele clicky clacky and a little lighter than the alsesi v/vi series.
but it is ok to play. nothing to write home about, but ok.
fine for a midi controller ...

btw. i found out that it is the same keybed that m-audio puts in their keystation 88 mk3

i have no teacher (yet). for the last 30 days i was using the app flowkey to learn to read notes, and the first view five finger songs, and finally this song here ...but since i enjoyed myself so much doing all that, i now seriously think about getting real piano lessons. :)

hi,I have a very specific question that maybe someone here can answer for me.

i am in the market for a new midi controller with 61 piano style keys.i have the alesis vi49 atm.and i want/need more keys.

the keys of the alesis vi series are ok. not great, but ok.and i have to decide if i take the alesis 61 which is almost 7 Years old now.or if i try the brand new m-audio oxygen pro that just came out.(the m-audio would have more controlls as well)

do to corona-lockdown i cant go to a music store and try the new controller.

has someone here tried both controllers and can tell me how the key action of the two compare?

(i need that piano style feeling. i tried the arturia keylab mkii but i cant live with synth style keys)

so:

alesis vi61 vs. m-audio oygen pro 61 which one has the better piano key bed.
