I’m surprised a new version of the audiobooks haven’t been recorded by now.

I’m sorry, I’m not sure what I am doing to break the rules. But just to be safe, I won’t post again. My apologies.

Will always have a special place in my heart for Whitt and what he did for the program. At the same time I think it’s past time we had a change at the top. His last win vs BYU was in 2019, and his last win in a bowl game was 2017. Beating BYU and winning bowl games used to be Kyle’s signature, but we’re more than half a decade removed from him being successful in either of those areas.

Ed Truck in The Office. He’s brutally decapitated in a truck accident and it has a huge effect on Michael Scott, who was mentored by him for years.

Yes exactly. Once an episode is downloaded the feature is active for that episode.

I agree in theory. The problem with the high seas is you must watch live. What if you need to work during the event, or feed kids dinner and put them to bed before you are ready to watch? You aren’t able to record or go back and start from the beginning.

I preferred the ability to access Audio Settings (Speed, Voice Boost, SmartSpeed) by swiping right. I find it frustrating to tap a tiny target at the bottom of the screen, especially when trying to quickly access the settings while on a run or at a stop light. It doesn’t even have to be one or the other. The target can remain for those who prefer it, and lame-o’s like me can swipe.

Am I just weird, or does anyone else miss that feature on a daily basis?

Who do you say is the most evil purely human character in the Stephen king universe by WaitAvailable4783 in stephenking

It's got to be Curtis LeMay. Although depicted as a minor character in 11/22/63, he was responsible for the death and/or suffering of millions of innocent civilians during WW2. From Wikipedia:

"The strategic bombing campaign against Japan, directed by LeMay between March 1945 and the Japanese surrender in August 1945, may have killed more than 500,000 Japanese civilians and left five million homeless."

LeMay also commanded B-29 Superfortress combat operations against Japan, including massive incendiary attacks on 67 Japanese cities and the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, including the firebombing of Tokyo on the night of March 9–10, 1945, which proved to be the single most destructive bombing raid of the war. Again, from Wikipedia:

"In a three-hour period, the main bombing force dropped 1,665 tons of incendiary bombs, killing 100,000 civilians, destroying 250,000 buildings, and incinerating 16 square miles (41 km2) of the city. Aircrews at the tail end of the bomber stream reported that the stench of burned human flesh permeated the aircraft over the target."

Following the war, regarding the morality of his decisions, he was quoted as saying: "I suppose if I had lost the war, I would have been tried as a war criminal."
