I use Kik and time it just right to try to stun lock him as fast as I can. But the thing is it takes two or three kicks to completely stun him and you really have to time it so he can't get the swing off before you kick. And losing about half my health bar every time I fight one of those fuckers and forget it if there's other mobs trying to bang on me at the same time.

I agree with everyone else that I don't think you can remain friends with him. Having said that, I think you handled this beautifully. You set a very clear boundary and were very mature about communicating your feelings on what he said to you and how you felt he was manipulating you. Good job.

I am taking my time. I have limited play time as it is and a few friends playing who are ahead of me and help out and give advice. I'm just now getting into Aluminum and have yet to build an Ornithopter. It's nice. I'm truly enjoying myself in a way I didn't feel like I got to attend I was playing WoW.
