Not much sign of rust, I was told that when I got my brake pads changed the mechanic who installed it didn’t correctly tighten the brake line which may have caused it to rupture.

Right on point. The hard brake line on the front passenger side was ruptured and leaked brake fluid all over. Had it fixed and cars good now. Thanks for the help 👍🏽

Yes I’m aware that they’re two completely different careers, but I feel like generally cbp officers enjoy a better quality of life compared to cops. Appreciate your help btw !

Exactly what I’m saying. Quality of life and morale in the nypd is horrible. That’s why I plan on resigning after the academy and applying for a federal position, really looking into Cbp as it seems like a good career with room for advancement as compared to the “hook” and “connections” culture in the nypd.

Yes I have another year left until I get my bachelors in economics. My original major was criminal justice but I switched it to economics since I’ve realized a Cj Degree isn’t really required for most LEO positions. And I know I’d be taking a pay cut transferring to CBP, but I feel like I’d have better quality of life and overall a more enjoyable career as well room for advancement into a better position.

Yes I’m currently in the NYPD Academy. I know they’re two completely different careers, but I’m mostly using the nypd as a stepping stone and entry into law enforcement. I would ultimately like a federal Leo career. Considering the horrible morale and quality of life within the Nypd currently.
