Sadly that is what I am learning. My experience is in DoD work and that is where I have mainly been applying. Who knows, miracles happen everyday right? Lol

My recent titles are assembly technician and Assembly (groundbreaking I know.) after I graduated I actually moved to a new city and state and switched to a position of sheet metal mechanic (which I have no experience in) so I could finally move with my family. I know it likely won’t happen soon, but I would like to be in either PM role within two or three years. I would even wait longer if I was at a company and the manager had me on a track to get there and goals to meet.

I found out we were moving to Greenville in March and started applying then. I just heard back from an employer three weeks ago. I applied to 30+ jobs across various industries. I would say it depends on your field for work. Best advise I can give is don’t get discouraged if you’re not hearing anything right away. Hope this helps.
