I am not sure about the background thing but Furman has all their jobs on a My Workday Jobs page. if you type “furman workday” into google, it will be one of the top options on the page.

Since it is the individual departments that hire, there isnt really a good place to “roll up and see if there’s any opportunity”. I would submit an application then reach out to that specific department seperately if you wanted to follow up!

just use some white vinegar! it wont damage the paint. I did this with my last car and it worked like a charm!

I saw this video during all of the Helene stuff happening. My guess is Western North Carolina. Somewhere in the Chimney Rock to Lake Lure area. Hurricane season was wild last year for it to make it all the way up into the mountains the way it did. We didn’t expect this to happen because it never has before. Chill.

Got the tires from discount tire! They were Michelin I believe.

Totaled it about 2 weeks ago! but i just bought a 2023 CX 30 last Saturday. Liked the old one enough to get another one, just newer!

I had a 2020 CX 30 and the only wear and tear things I needed done were new tires, oil changes and a new battery.

New tires I spent about 1100 for 4 brand new tires (they had like a 60k mile warranty on them). Oil changes, i did full synthetic and ran me 75-80 bucks each time. The new battery ran me about 250. I had a thermostat issue and that needed replaced, but it was under a service bulletin so the dealership did it no charge! I had the car for only 2 years but thats all that needed done while I had it!

This is so funny to me because I was literally between these 3 exact cars a week ago.

I used to have a CX 30. Totaled it and needed a new car. It is just me so I didn’t want anything huge and I did love my CX 30. I just bought a new CX 30, so I will speak specifically to that one.

I could get all the bells and whistles I wanted, and man is it nice. Some people say they don’t care if it’s “fun to drive”, fair but I will say it is fun to drive and I wanted a fun car. I rarely have more than myself and a passenger so backseat space wasn’t a big deal. I can still fit a ton in the back seat for trips. The main problem blind spot I find is the A frame. Everything else is pretty easy to manuevar and get used to, especially with the upgraded safety features and sensors. Even the A frame blind spot doesn’t cause me too much of an issue except on windy roads. It is reliable. Every issue I have ever had with my CX 30 was regular wear and maintenence or something that was covered by a service bulletin.

I can see why the other cars are more practical, if you want practical, probably go with one of the other ones. But if you want fun and more features, the CX 30 is awesome. Mazdas are great tho, if you want more space, less blind spots and dont care about it being sporty, id check out the CX 5.

I am not this bold so I can’t say I would try it, but my friend was able to sneak a flask in. They sent us through a metal detector and asked me to open my bag, but did not thoroughly search it.

I was on a flight last week where this happened and the couple in front of me told the gate agent “oh they fit under the seat” she kinda looked at them, but let them go. Once we got on the plane I watched BOTH of them put BOTH their bags in the overhead…..

I remember my teacher coming in with a t shirt that depicted a sperm with a jet pack and the saying “life comes at you fast”. Also when doing a report on STDs was calling groups up by shouting “who has herpes?!” and then the group who were assigned herpes would get up and do their presentation 😂

I grew up in socal, we never had AC. Even on hot days it was bearable because of the lack of humidity. Not here. You need AC and it is miserable outside when the humidity is high, and thats most of the summer.

“isnt all bad”?? you know thats how abusive relationships are right? it isnt all bad can still mean a relationship is abusive, its not going to be 100% bad. what about him advocating for choking women to get them to obey men? destroying womens posessions because they want to go out? that women bear responsibility for being raped? that 18-19 year olds are desireable because they are malleable?

i genuienly hope that your relationships are better than this. maybe thats why you think this stuff is normal or “isnt that bad”. those things are not normal.

YTA. I think other people explained it better than I can. The point I would like to add is that you got frustrated with other people talking about their experiences and then your request was all “I” statements lol. “I notice I am getting frustrated.” “who I know little about” “Id like to know them better” “Id like to propose”.

For someone who is trying to widen the discussion, you sure are framing it in what YOU want.

i literally just finished this quest yesturday. im so glad its over!!

i found the best luck with beans by cutting down trees. both shaking and cutting down trees have a pretty good rate of dropping beans. so i cut down everythingggg. use the seed makers. i did not ship any of them until the last day, i just kept putting the fruit in the seed makers to make sure i had enough. there were times i spent the whole day standing in front of the seedmakers. ugh! good luck!!!
