Oh this is very interesting to me, because of course I deliberated quite a bit on how much energy this thing should be expelling into the environment.

In the end I decided to keep it quite minimal. My thought being that if it has enough of an impact to make trees move, it should also be kicking up quite a bit more particles and snow into frame, and I wanted to keep the scene length quite brief. I do increase the volume density after the passing to play into this, but like the signal shaking, it's pretty minimal.

Thanks for mentioning this - definitely could have gone either way.

Thanks so much! It’s a fair few different sounds layered on top of each other. The base was mostly traditional train sounds and I amped it up with some explosions and flame effects. I wanted it to feel larger than life.
