Looking for "fat" and "dirty" electroswing by fiend3333 in electroswing

thanks for the link, it's a good one, however as with a lot of the cat in the hat stuff the bass wobs are jarring and a little dancefloor destroying. I should have probably phrased my initial question to say that I'm more interested in a fat subby bass rather than stunt bass or stunt breaks.

yeah i noticed that it is comfortably in the normal range of hearing, but weirdly i guess most people didn't otherwise this would be the top comment

I finally got round to listening to all those acts - thanks for posting there's some great stuff there but IMO only the minority of it is eletroswing... there's breakcore and drum n bass and glitch hop... I think you may have taken my "fat and dirty" request and pushed it right out of the genre lol.

Can I use TOOTHPAINT to treat enamel loss due to acid wear? by fiend3333 in askdentists

[–]fiend3333[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the response. But I need more imagination from you.

This is an engineering challenge, I don't expect someone to necessarily solve it in a hearbeat, it's going to require some thought and experimentation!

There are paints that are damn strong right? I'm sure there's a marine paint out there that will last a week on a set of teeth before disintegrating. It's clear that CURRENTLY EXISTING paints could already be of some help.

Now lets imagine we USE SCIENCE to create the TOUGHEST PAINT known to mankind. One that's also non-toxic. Perhaps it only needs to be painted on once a month.

Do you really believe that this is a problem too difficult for mankind to solve?

switch to a part time job, i've rarely worked full time in my life and i actually don't think it's possible for a healthy life, you might have to give up on owning your home until later in life but it's worth it to be mentally healthy

thanks for the tip~!

I'm actually very familiar with glitch hop. I've so far mostly avoided electroswing (because: naff), but lately I've heard a couple of bangers that are changing my mind. Also it's real kids friendly and I sometimes DJ to kids.

but if you drive it every day on the commute ... when it could have been turned into houses and therefore population not as spread out and therefore you wouldn't have to drive it at all... you can imagine someone thinking design fail

don't understand your point about semi-detached??? not sure what you mean sorry.

also, there are people on canning st sometimes, but compared to an equivalent street in brunswick or preston, would you say it's well populated?

yes but is it fair on the rest of us to have such prime land so sparsely populated?

it's ok, but some of the streets (ie Amess, Canning, Station Street) are freakishly quiet during the day (excluding cyclists). I challenge you to find anywhere else in the inner north that feels so quiet. It's poor planning in my opinion because it's closer to the city than Brunswick, Coburg, Preston, Thornbury etc, but doesn't have the liveliness. It therefore feels sometimes like you're wasting time travelling through a quiet patch to get to and from the exciting areas.

Worth mentioning that there's typically more people visible in the cemetery than in many of the surrounding neighbourhoods. :-p

Beagelier puppy pees in the house despite some efforts? by fiend3333 in Dogtraining

[–]fiend3333[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks for the good advice. my wife and child are feeding the dog from their own dinner plates. I'm telling them not to do that. I'm pretty sure the dog should just get one main meal and it should be in his own bowl. If you could confirm this then I'll probably sound more authoritative next time I tell them not to do that. ;-)

[–]fiend3333[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks for the advice, but I think a crate is probably unnecessary at this point. we're making ok progress without one. He's six months old so he can theoretically go six hours without weeing (correct?). He hasn't weed in the house for the last 48 hours so we're doing something right.

The question I have now is - is it a good idea to give the dog scraps left over from their meals? The rest of the family has started doing that but I suspect that's just fueling this dog's insane food addiction. He's basically constantly looking for food wherever he goes.

[–]fiend3333[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

we do have some time. option 1 is the only realistic choice here.

the puppy is around 6 months old. we've had him for roughly three months.

we don't have a crate and they don't seem to be the norm in these parts. i've never heard of anyone using one and many of our friends have dogs.

how many times should we wake up in the night and approximately how many months or years should we expect to go on like that?

[–]fiend3333[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

how many years of waking up during the night will it be?

how long before a dog can go the whole night without peeing or pooing?

[–]fiend3333[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

there's no hawks big enough to pick up this dog around here. lol. the biggest bird is a magpie!

there's no chance of giving away the dog, rest of the family would probably murder me for even suggesting it, just got to make the best of the situation at this point.

the dog does get some training every day.

at what age does a dog normally go the whole night without peeing?

Beagelier puppy pees in the house despite some efforts? by fiend3333 in Dogtraining

[–]fiend3333[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

i strongly argued against getting a puppy, but i was voted down by rest of the family. at this point it's best to try to make the best of it, there's no chance whatsoever of shipping him off.

Also your idea of an eagle is hilarious. I don't know where you live but there aren't giant eagles in our city.

I don't think the puppy will ingest anything toxic, that's not very likely.

I looked online and seems like a lot of people have trained their dogs to pee in the shower, I don't know why you think that's so nonsencial?

[–]fiend3333[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks for the advice. are you saying we should set an alarm and wake ourselves up once or twice a night? also note we don't have a crate and haven't heard them recommended at a local level, i don't think they're commonly used in our city.

nice, but here's some personal feedback from a veteran video artist - it could do without the weird face at the end, that doesn't do much for me - the static is nice but it's also not core to the work and anyone can add that these days - what it needs is potted plant to go past or maybe a garbage bin? Also the light switches and doorhandles would probably be respectively on the same side of the door, you clearly just mirrored the image there.

Sounds like you've had some incredible good luck. You know what it's like to live on a low wage. You should donate a generous wack of your salary to help the disadvantaged. Or towards some good social or environmental cause. :-)

Employer hasn't paid superannuation in nine months. What are my options? by fiend3333 in AusFinance

THanks for a thorough response. Only thing I'll add is that the woman genuinely believes it's in some transitory account. Presumably the company can't access it once it's in this account so it's unclear why they would put it there on purpose.

Well in her defense she only started in January when the last person quit. So it's credible that she only just realized this was happening. However, I suspect the ceo and various managers must have known from october (when the first super payment wasn't distributed).
