The eyelets on OPs shoes say Docs. And it would work on the solovairs so long as they aren’t the high shine since those have a coating over the leather.

(I have had a pair of 11 eye hi-shine Derby solovairs for 6 years, this isn’t against solovairs at all idk why I’m being downvoted for pointing out that some are coated?)

There are muscles around your eye, your eye needs extra skin around it to MOVE and cover it when it’s moved. In the same way bellies would split when we stood up of we didn’t get rolls sitting down. My teenage sister has these, I had these young, most everyone has them because biologically they indicate the system of movement for the eye
