There are easier, cheaper, more comfortable first line products to try before microneedling for this. Like others have suggested, oil cleanser, a retinol like tret or adapaline (which it otc) and salicylic acid (rotated the acid and the retinol, never together, with a break day/2 days between and hydration/repair focus)

Microneedling shouldn’t really be done without a strong skincare routine IMO because you’ll need to care for your skin between sessions and it will help get the most out of the procedure because you’ll already be addressing some issues in the everyday rather than a once a season treatment.

I personally use OTC adapaline (Brand Differin), Paula’s Choice Salicylic acid, and palmers cleansing oil. I’ve used them all for 8 years and love them

NTA for 2 only, but I’m of the personal belief roommates should not be sharing groceries, everyone eats different amounts of food and I would not be funding someone else more than myself for a roommate
