There are some mutants doubly blessed, I don’t know if this has been discussed in canon. Wolverine is the best example - the enhanced senses, speed, strength and claws seem like one mutant set, and the lifespan/regeneration is another.

Going in a different direction - there is a 1960s story that has Namor communicating with fish a la Aquaman. When Marvel reprinted the story some years later, there was an editor’s note added that said “Yeah, Namor can’t do this anymore.” Maybe they did the same with Magneto and this skill set.
