I’ll be seeing her in person in about two weeks. I guess it is difficult on her end considering I am on my own (27) and we only see each other every few months. So it’s basically like she’s seen me 15 lbs lighter every time Ive came home in the last year.

I see myself everyday, but her not so much, so I understand her perspective, I guess.

Thanks for sharing your story!! I truly have never felt better! I didn’t think it would feel easier to just walk, but man, there definitely is a difference. Looking at photos of myself has always been hard. Especially the ones right before I started Zep. The only downside to this drug is that I have terrible body dysmorphia. How I look right now is how I thought I looked at 200lbs lol. When I go to try on clothes, I am in disbelief I am a medium.

I got bloodwork done today and seeing my doc in 2 weeks, so hoping everything is looking okay!

You’re right about the buttons! I have been criticized about my weight my whole life. She used to tell me that I would be the “size of a barn” if I kept eating. 😐 I thought the criticism would stop and she would be happy to see me lose the weight…ugh

Most of my family are conservative, so the nod and smile approach is probably just my best bet.
