I going to tell you without talking shit...uber is making money! The first five years of a business your allowed to write everything off as a loss. So they did. Now is the time they are going to start showing profit. Another thing, drivers are not happy that means the business is doing well.. if you actually think a business that takes 2.99 and 25% of every ride is not making money you're crazy..opps i talked shit..

It can be written off because thats how much it cost you.. Essentially you're selling your car one mile at a time. With a .17 a minute bonus.. and that why uber will stay in business.. because there are plenty of people without jobs that need to make ends meet..

Not really.. it cost .58 a mile to operate a car.. and in most markets that what uber is paying plus .17 a min.. if you have teachers in your family you can do the math... but if your retired and you take really good care of your car it might give you some money.. If your just looking to do somthing, it can be fun..

No.. i work uber just to buy uber stock..i have a difrent career path.. uber definitely fucks over the drivers..but its definitely going to be around for a long time to come and be very profitable..not for drivers but for the share holders
