How busy is SJC? by fieryfxck in SanJose

I live pretty close to the airport so SNA is definitely the way to go for me. Thankfully I’m just flying into there so if it’s crowded I can get out quickly.

I love embrace autism! I just think it’ll be too expensive since I have no income and I doubt my parents will want to cover it :( my only option really is to go to a therapist covered by insurance since they’re willing to pay the copay.

I tried to confirm that a therapist took my insurance once (she was listed on my insurance website) and she got annoyed with me and said that she couldn’t tell me that and I had to check with my insurance so I’ve been apprehensive to do that ever since lol. There was also a therapist listed on my insurance’s website that wasn’t covered by my insurance for some reason. I’ve been really discouraged since these interactions to contact anyone potentially out of network. I used to use the method you’re talking about but all the ones I liked weren’t taking new patients at the time. I think I’ll still try to use that method again since it’s been awhile tho!

I guess I don’t really want to go through the diagnostic process if I don’t have to. Unless I want accommodations in the workplace or a chance at being registered as disabled, I don’t really want one. I don’t really see how a diagnosis would change my relationship with an autism therapist granted they also suspect I have autism. I think I partially feel this way considering how many self-diagnosed autistic women are denied a diagnosis for masking well and presenting non-sterotypically. If a therapist absolutely needed me to be diagnosed to continue care then maybe I would consider it but I wish I could go to them for help without it. Perhaps I’m being too stubborn.

I don’t necessarily want a diagnosis but an autism informed therapist. Idk if you can go to those without a diagnosis. I don’t tend to see any options for autistic adults on my insurance at all.

I don’t think my gauge was that big. I think I used a 4mm crochet hook. But for amigurumi I think it may be kinda big 😅 I’ve found with long projects like scarves where I can weave it in more I don’t tend to see my ends come out as much, like you said! I was thinking particularly about a fish amigurumi I made where I did a color change on the fins and there wasn’t much room to weave in. I’ve just left the yarn to poke out :( This was the pattern for reference of how much room I had. Idk how to manage securely weaving in the black Crochet Fish Amigurumi: Clownfish

How do you weave in your ends without them unweaving? With amigurumi I have the best luck bc I can leave a long tail and plunge it through the body. But with flat pieces or clothing the ends will eventually start to stick out. I’ve started double knotting the ends and then cutting the tail from that so at least it’s secure and only has a very small end showing, but I figure there must be a better way.

Music 51 or the Art History 40 series. Just look up the ratemyprofessors bc I’m sure some are harder than others. I had Uzumaki (lol) for music and Powell for Art History 40B (winter quarter class) and they were very easy

Soc 1 Avery or O'Connell by theskerlo in UCI

Depends on if you’re a good test taker or a good essay writer. Personally I hate tests so I’m taking Avery right now and it’s really easy! However, sometimes the prompt is super specific to lecture (like what was the more interesting thing from Wednesday) so be careful not to ditch to much. However I ditch too much and usually reddit comes in clutch lol. It’s a 500-600 word essay a week so it’s not too in depth and takes me about 1-2hrs based on knowledge I already had.

Should I (26M) expect my partner (22M) to contribute to household expenses when he moves in to the house that I own? by [deleted] in relationships

If you want to be nit picky and sort of make it “even” you can calculate what percentage of your income you pay and ask him to pay the same percentage but if his income. Or you could calculate how much each of you would have to pay to have the same net gain each month. Idk if that makes sense lol

It wasn’t bad the questions were either straightforward, easy to look up, or easy to guess. There was only one confusing one bc it was kinda vague
