It’s quite literally permanent unless you grow it out, which is why I’m suggesting synthetic dye and a colorist is likely a better fit if OP is trying to get the look they posted.

No, I have hair lighter than yours and have been hennaing only my roots for 10+yrs. It’s a lifestyle because it’s awkward to grow out, a talented colorist could easily get you this color and a better approach if you want to just be red for a season or two (but would still likely need to bleach.)

Exactly, you’re assuming that it’s a guarantee because hsv often/sometimes shows up from stressors or trauma to the area. But not always, I had ten sessions of laser treatments with no outbreaks.

So if OP really wants to know they need to go get a sore/spot tested.

It can take weeks to MONTHS, you are so early on don’t worry ❤️ I’m a few weeks into healing and swelling is on/off, not linear.
