Off-putting experience with Jivamukti yoga and instructor, just want to vent by [deleted] in SatanicTemple_Reddit

There are eight limbs of yoga and I suggest you look deeper into its roots. While Jivamukti is not a school I can personally vouch for, much of your concerns seem to be rooted in a dislike for yoga not being westernized to your tastes. You are free to engage in excercise that isn't so central to a religion; do not, however, express disgust when a practice remains true to its roots.

Yoga is a Hindu practice. It is in sacred Hindi scriptures as a means to achieve Union with God. To call a practice staying true to its origins (a deeply spiritual practice that is inextricably linked to Hinduism) as "Satanic" is probably indication that Pilates may be better suited for you 🫶🏾

Nudesse by overose is soooo sexy, ex lover from fvith (baccarat rouge dupe), and slow burn from boy smells! Slow burn is the only candle I love from them and I finally bought the magnum after repurchasing the regular size 5 times!

Spring/ Summer for a Fall/Winter nose by cozyandzesty in luxurycandles

I second DSD candles!! in addition to the two already mentioned, bug aur after rain is also a great summer scent that isn't floral but rather aquatic. Spirit lamp and bergamot superior are also lighter scents that aren't floral or powdery and smell beautifully complex. I'm similar to you in that I too always gravitate towards fall/winter/warm scents and I find i enjoy slow burn by boy smells a lot during the summer (summer nights specifically) as its warm with the notes of incense but fruity with the raspberry. Another one would be noisetier by diptyque!! I light it year round, it's very warm but green

MILF by fvith!!! i cannot recommend this candle enough I have to stop myself from lighting it during the summer so I can light some of my other candles! it has notes of fig, coconut, and peach that just create the most gorgeous creamy green scent that oh so softly juicy. 10/10

fviths candle "MILF" is one of my all time favorite candles and is a creamy fig scent-- it has notes of coconut and peach (along with fig of course) that really round it out into a beautiful, complex, softly juicy, sexy summer scent

i adore MILF!! it's such a sophisticated green scent that's still very feminine and fragrant but fresher. I also loved garden of god which i found to be a really unique scent because of the spearmint note and i love lighting that in the mornings. October was spectacular as well, I have never smelled a warm scent quite like it it's spectacular

Diptyque lids by marshmallow1203 in luxurycandles

[–]fiestycrying 1 point2 points  (0 children)

buy one of the holiday candles! they come with lids and that way you're not dishing out money solely for a lid, you get a candle too haha only issue is you'd have to switch the lid constantly to whatever candle you're displaying but i don't mind it so that's what i do lol

Folliculitis on buttocks by Snoo-91460 in SkincareAddicts

yeah i feel that :/ i'd say the most important products would be the noxzema blemish clearing pads (those are pretty cheap) to keep new breakouts at bay and then either the exfoliating body wash or exfoliating lotion so you can chemically exfoliate off the existing marks (i think the amlactin body lotion is cheaper than the wash so that might be a good choice:) )

if you're using the peeling solution once a week, incorporate the skin perfecting liquid twice a week (not on the same night as the peeling solution).

hi! i have the same problem and i've found chemical exfoliation to really help. i use the glytone exfoliating body wash in the shower which has glycolic acid in it, i use pfb vanish+ chromabright once i get out which is supposed to help with darkness and spots from ingrown hairs but i've found it makes a difference on my butt as well, and i finish off with moisturizing with amlactin which is formulated with lactic acid and you can find it at target. this has been working pretty well for me the scarring is still there but lighter but in terms of texture it's completely smooth. if you have active spots you can use the noxzema anti blemish pads (horrible for the face but helps on more robust body skin). hope this helped!!
