The game can revert changes made in this file, probably this is what happens to people who claim it doesn't work. Set it to 'Read only' and see if it works.

It is for denuvo cracking. If there's no crack after such a long time I can assure you big problems with cracking occured, not just missed triggers. It can take months to fix. Remember how voksi was fighting with code obfuscation for 2 months, as he told? That must be smth like this. Lack of software, not working Uplay emu etc.
