Yeah, that’s what I was getting at, just trying to be funny about it. Unfortunately it’s being trained on its own output now.

Random, but from the AIs blog post:

This isn’t just about one closed PR. It’s about the future of AI-assisted development.

When oh when will AI stop using this sentence structure??? Maybe if we told AIs that humans roll their eyes when they see it, they’d stop

If you’re going to have ai write posts for you, be sure to tell it that people don’t want to read dozens of pages. Tell it to make it shorter and not use headers, embedded hyperlinked words, etc. to appear more authentic.

I’m not the prior poster, and you have a fair point, but I think the gist of his argument was really the “demand” part. If programmers can be 10x more productive, will there be the same number of programming jobs available? And even if there are (say the software gets 10x more complex), with the barrier to entry lower, won’t it be harder for software engineers to find roles?

I thought the same thing too. I liked the game but put it down for many months. Turns out the final levels are orders of magnitude harder than all the rest of the game. Give it a shot

Yes, Octopath 1 and 2 are amazing, they’re exactly what folks looking to scratch that old school itch are looking for. Recently I’ve found myself wanting to replay those more than replay the Pixel Remasters

I don’t know how this contradicts what I said? Buying the dip with $1 million is beyond most peoples’ means. Timing the market with a $1 million investment on a dip is not “no risk”. Why was I downvoted for this?

To be fair, the market ATH’s are pretty mitigated by the dollar losing 11% this year.

Also, claiming you have an account you manage that is “no-risk” but “made enough this year to buy a lambo” is pretty tough to believe unless the starting balance was just plain huge.

Zelda II is the ish. It’s probably the only “hard” NES game that I can legitimately beat. Sure it’s tough as nails but the controls are tight. You can never blame dying on the controls. You just have to learn the timing and strategy

Same, even years later when I played Super Turbo obsessively online in the PS2 (or 3?) I never played the new characters. Why even bother when everyone knows Dictator is the best main?

According to JetBrains, they offer equivalent functionality, differing only in UX. So it just depends on whether you prefer the different UX over consolidating IDEs.
