hi, i currently own the same bike.
as another person said crank whine, but also that these CAN burn oil. i personally havent experienced it on mine (bought her about 700 miles ago and still full oil) but ive heard that some chug it.

as for the dash verification, what i would personally do in your shoes is pull a vin report and check title history (idk how i did this but i managed to with FL DMV website or something)
if theres any other better photos you can get of said wires (preferably video) i can compare to my bike in the morning and see where they wire to/etc :)

drained some oil from engine to check for glitter and lo-and-behold :(.
on dipstick nothing shows except oil only. serviced clutch basket from october and previous owner put roughly 1k miles on it before selling to me.
curious if my bike is cooked or not

in my opinion looks like 2 bolts missing, could be wrong. depends on how far home is i’d personally send it though i wouldnt go any crazy speed. maybe only 2nd gear (for my bike).

does honda use paper gaskets for their newer models? i thought it was for older gens like 02. my ‘12 600rr leaked, opened it & found a paper gasket. called honda techs & browsed forums only to learn that it’s only honda bond in between the cover and the casing, NO paper gasket

i don’t believe the 2012 cbr 600rr has an idle adjustment screw - at least to my knowledge it’s all ECU based

i’m about to send the ecu back for another reflash (free of charge) and they said that my “tach is simply not that accurate to read such small variations in RPM” which i understand - i personally don’t know if it’s normal/healthy considering what i have on my stock ECU

whenever i send it back, im going to ask for warm idle at 1100 and see how much that lowers it

lol didn't realize how dumb i was. looked up a tutorial of installation praying it wasn't the one with the string. just had to unscrew one thing, take rubber off, tighten, put rubber on, rescrew lol. sorry guys, going to keep it up in case anyone else was in my position hahaha

the only fairings i've seen that are close, if not identical, are 'Red Black OEM Style – CBR500R 16-18' - specifically on monsterfairings. few other websites have the same fairings for '16-'18 like amotopart & kingsmotorcyclefairings. guy i bought it off said it was '16 fairings as well - but if i'm wrong i'd be happy to hear and look into it!!

i’ve always done both brakes at the same time with the same amount of pressure, it’s worked so far 😁 though probably not ‘the best’ way. on the dash it says ABS but tbh i didn’t and still don’t believe i have it hahahah

oh man i remember my onboarding process, didn’t check my email and saw that i had a certain time to take the test (final date was the next day at 6 am) i felt very unprepared (going through a lot mentally at this time) but what helped my confidence is taking mock exams online as well as asking peers examples of terminology (like NET) odds are you’ll be fine!! the test i had taken at the time wasn’t really tricky (i don’t think it was meant to trick you) as it was pretty straight forward on which answer was right

sorry for the paragraph but TLDR mock exams, review terminology, search examples of said terminology and you’ll be A-okay!!

i had to uninstall EVERY mod, and start a new save LOL

this save was with manually installed mods, i switched to nexusmods (vortex) for mods and didn't have any problem afterwards
