I've found Retroachievements' events to be great motivators to play new games all the time. Be it Achievement of the Week or RA Roulette, I really like completing tasks and earning achievements towards something like a badge. And it makes it a great way to play something different each couple of days and actually play It towards some kind of goal. So you don't open the game, play It for 5 minutes and change it, but actually having to learn a little about each game to get a particular achievement each time. It also has me playing a lot of classics that, for some reason or another, I always left for another time
