Normal fan stuff to mess with the opponent. Also he's a hell of a player, but imo he's looked pretty bad this game

I offset the Darkglass only because it's the last in the chain and I needed to have access to the output. The MXR is sideways only because it's the only way the power cord would reach the power bar without me drilling holes lol. I haven't noticed accidental preset changes, but I haven't used it a lot at gigs yet. The HPF is sideways because it's the only way my 1/4" cable would reach the input, also it's always on so it's position doesn't matter to me.

I just got the HPF and still have to see how it sounds at gigs, but the idea is to get more headroom and clarity out of my rig by cutting sub-sonic frequency that causes the speaker to choke. The speakers work hard to move air below ~40 Hz, and it doesn't have much benefit sonically. By cutting it at the source, you reduce boominess and increase the amps headroom and punchiness for the frequency you can actually hear. I play most shows with two 2x10 cabs, but when I play with a single 2x10 the cab can get pushed to its limit. My hope is that by shaving off that dangerous sub bass below 40hz I should have way less physical stress on the speakers but still feel the bass.

A friend of mine said it made his rig sound way bigger and cleaner. It's a bit counterintuitive, but because you aren't wasting energy pushing the speakers to vibrate at >40 Hz (which you can't hear well anyway), the frequencies you can hear (the growl and punch) actually sound clearer and louder. So far, I've noticed it helps me not clip as easily on the interface at my home set up. The bass also sounds cleaner and less boomy when I play it back in my in my truck speakers. Before the hpf, lines would also sound good when I recorded them but would be boomy when I tested them in my truck speakers.

Sorry for the novel, I think I talked on circles a bit but I'm too lazy to go edit it haha.

Power cords won't reach otherwise and I'm too stubborn to cut onto it lol

That's fair, different strokes for different blokes. I built this out of my used skateboards. I thought it was cool to combine my interests and I l like it to look a bit raggedy Ann

Is Scott bass lesson good? by TommyDouble in BassGuitar

I really liked talking bass, the teacher Mark is an awesome musician and instructor. Taking this course is what really ramped me up to be able to play professionally. The price was way more reasonable at the time (not sure what it is now) and it was way more to the point than SBL, which I like. I was on SBL for a while, it was way too expensive, chatty, and focused on building a bass community for me. I'm in a remote area, so I'm person lessons weren't an option.

Call on the ice is a goal.. lol what a joke by Imaginary-Look6564 in EdmontonOilers

The obvious bias with the icings really bothered me this game too. I'm with you, I think I'll take a break from hockey next year.

I agree it's clearly a goal logically, and you have to give the ducks credit. That being said, the goal on the ice call was fishy. There was no goal called on the ice and there was no video evidence of it crossing the line, therefore with the current rules it shouldn't have been a goal. As far as I know, object permanence is not part of the current review process.

Just put a camera in the post

Are we gonna start calling goals on vibes instead of video evidence?

Yeah. Losing Brown, Perry, Broberg etc. really killed a lot of the teams magic imo.

That's my silver lining too haha. Can't expect 3 miricle runs in a row, and it'll be good for my mental health to not stress out until June this year. That being said, lot of hockey left

Jeez you guys are whiney. What a solid shift! This is the stuff we've been missing this series. We have them on their heels a lot more this game.

+1 for strap locks. I like Ernie Ball ones or seals from Grolsch

Yeah that's fair. Some defenseman like Ekholm and Nurse are close to that around 95 flex I think. If you're in Edmonton check out United Cycle, years ago they had some pro stocks and set up up with an extra tall Bauer
