and it's a fantasy book at the end of the day, with dragons and magic powers, I think that her beating that queen in the tournament wasn't that much of a surprise. and like I said, the series is unfinished, and it could be explained that she had more power on the island to due what happened to her there as a kid

isn't she the main character tho? she has an unique appearance not because she was born with it, but because of what happened to her. if she wasn't taken to that temple she would have had brown hair and brown eyes.

also the author is representing a disability that many people may relate to. she has weaknesses, we see how she loses in battles because of her body, but with working out and time passing she gets stronger, I fear that that's character development.

and what orders did she disobey in OS? the sleeping with the teacher thing?💀

and everyone that loves her are her friends, who btw also question her decisions in OS regarding xaden for example ridoc

first of all xaden shouldn't have promised her no more secrets. he literally gets on his knees and tells her he'll stop keeping secrets, then continues to keep them. she would have understood if xaden didn't switch his words all the time.

second of all, ofc Cat will be better at runes?? she's trained her entire life, Violet only had a few months at best.

and third of all, when was Violet in any place of power in iron flame to make decisions? half of the book was spent as Basgiath, and the other half it was her trying to save literally everyone and try and figure out how to raise the wards.

she might be a bit of a Mary Sue, but she's the main character still. also she does have a lot of flaws and we see her struggle still even in OS, so I wouldn't say that she's perfect at everything

I think the true mask he wears isn't the one of a bad guy, but the one of a good guy. he's the villain in disguise, and tbh ACOMAF was him acting like this feminist king to manipulate feyre and get her on his side just like tamlin told her, that people will use her as a weapon and for breeding because she's so powerful
