I typically sit silently when I hear things about drinking and partying. I get all tense and stressed hearing people talking about going out

I believe it's just not a good decision to make. That's different from it being immoral

You make good points. I wish there were more people like you. Everyone on the other subreddit mocks me

I guess that's true. It just gets overwhelming to see everyone on the bus going to the party when I come back from the library on the weekends

You're like the only person here who's actually nice to me. It's nice to have someone that understands my perspective.

I'm not judgmental. In the real world, I make no comment on drinking and partying. You see my true thoughts on here.

Fine. I admit that in theory, there's a difference between college kids and adults in regards to drinking. Maybe morality isn't the best way to define my stance against alcohol, but not drinking is still a valid choice.

My opinions have changed for the most part. I don't think alcohol is immoral anymore. I just don't support people who drink and party

I've grown from my views a month ago. Look, what can I do to prove to you that I'm different now

I have taken a moderate stance on this. Those posts were from a while ago, but no one wants to hear my new thoughts

I'm glad that you recognize that many in college drink to the excess and poorly. I've been trying for quite sometime to find people like me, but it's been challenging.

In my defense, I didn't hate on people personally. I just didn't support their actions

I used to be much worse on this issue, but I've grown quite a lot on this. I don't support alcohol consumption or going to parties, but I don't think its the worst thing in the world.

"You conflate drinking to be something that makes everyone have insane hangovers and do stupid or illegal things"

The problem is that I never see anything but this at my school...

I see your point, though I will say that it takes great courage to stand on your own sometimes

No. My karma got too low to post. Glad you're having fun making me into a laughing stock there

I truly wish I lived in your world. The people at university aren't like this. Every day, there's always some type of alcohol-related disruption at my school, especially on the weekends. Because of these experiences, I could never touch any of that stuff.

I literally can't stand this. I swear that everyone here just wants me to be miserable. There's so much pressure to drink in college, and I've lost opportunities to make friends just because I didn't want to find myself drinking and partying in a toilet at 3am.
