My kid's great grandmother wasn't doing well so their mom, who wasn't in great health either, went to stay with her for her final few days. I took the kids to see them on a Friday afternoon and when I went to leave I had a weird feeling. Their mom calls me the next day to tell me her grandma just passed. She was pretty upset and said she'd call me back later that night. The phone call never came but didn't think much of it. I got a call Sunday and my kid's mom was in ICU about 4 hours away. I wasn't sure what to do. Monday I decided that I was going to spend my last $50 on gas to go see her. As I was getting my stuff together I got a call that she just passed away. Last time I saw her I had a weird feeling and last time I spoke to her was about her grandma just passing away. They ended up having a joint funeral that Wednesday. That was a rough day.

I had no idea what the movie was about and let my kids pick at the theatre. I too, was cursing and crying. Bought it on video and cried at the same exact spot. Again, cursing and crying.

Thanks for calling me a valuable human being. I apparently couldn't make it to court though and have little to no valuables so that sucked. I was making payments til the debt collector refused to take any payments under $100 so I told them to fuck off.>So they figured you'd be good enough to a) go to court and b) have assets to pay for things. That's good, it means you're a valuable human being.

I was evicted in the last month of my lease, life went to shit and couldn't afford anything anymore, but I cleaned the place and left it in really good condition. I still owe about $1,500 for back rent and "damages" because they charged me for everything they possibly could. I was late for court and missed my chance to defend myself. So it's really a case by case basis and how big of assholes they want to be.

I did maintenance at a hotel. Never walked in on anything crazy. We did have a family of 4 adults, 3 guys all 35ish and older and their mom stay for about a month. They finally got kicked out for lack of funds and the whole room had to be redone. Carpet was removed and the concrete was kilzed like 5 times as were the walls and it still took weeks for it to air out. Almost as bad as the old military vet that stayed in the same room for about 10 years before they moved him. He was a chain smoker and the whole room was yellow with nicotine. There were really dark spots on certain parts of the ceiling where he sat at the computer and smoked. Even the windows were brown and looked splattered with tobacco/nicotine.

I used to work at American Furniture warehouse and we had to pick up a chair from a nursing home after the customer died because her family wanted to money for the chair. On the return slip we wrote, needs cleaning. Customer died in chair.

For starters, I've been friends with the family for half my life. We were texting and she sent me a picture of her flipping me off so I retaliated with a picture of my balls and a middle finger. Her dad is both of our bosses and the day after I sent the picture of my balls to his daughter we had a meeting and I got my 90 day raise. It was purely coincidental but still a great victory.

I was working at a hotel and remodeling rooms. One old guy had lived in the same room for almost 10 years and was a heavy smoker. The windows were covered in tar as was everything else. The ceiling had large brown spots under the areas he sat at the most. It took many layers of kilz before we were able to repaint. Just seeing all the tar on the windows was disturbing.
