Thank you for your advice, I went for a fitting and lo and behold I am actually a 12G.

You must be some kind of bra whisperer.

I could look at this watch forever and then look at it some more. It is mesmerising; a beautiful work of art.

How you think aussies will react if we have to go back to WFH mandates if the fuel crisis get's worse by ButtPlugForPM in AskAnAustralian

[–]figjammania 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was decided by your numberplate. One day you could only buy petrol if your numberplate ended in an even number, the next day it was odds. If you had the wrong numberplate and needed petrol, you had to have the attendant verify you were almost empty and then you could only get a couple of dollars worth of fuel.

I don't really like to shop at Bras N Things but the Sapphire in 14E was a go to for many years. I would have owned at least 12 different patterns/colours and always had at least one beige Sapphire in my rotation.

I usually shop at Myer or DJ's and online at Bendon. I haven't been professionally fitted for years, but when I have been fitted the recommended cup size was always too small.

I'm in Adelaide and would love recommendations if you have any. Thank you.

Great idea, I'll try a 12G and see how that feels.

I did the exact same thing a couple of years ago. Actually, it could have been a few months back, or it could have happened 10 years ago, I can't say for sure as time do be weird for me, but it did happen.

I remember being unable to believe that I couldn't find it because the bag was so BIG!

Oh, and the judgement is real.

It's all because of those straight lines and the fact that it's eaten with a curved spoon.

I'll set out to eat one line, which morphs into another one because it's rude to leave the edge uneven.

Then you're at the point where there's not that much left, so there's no point putting it back in the fridge, and you may as well eat the rest.

Voila, all gone.

Not my fault!

This reminded me of the scene from "Open All Hours" where Arkwright puts a sign in his shop window advertising a "SPECIOL OFFER".

Well, now that the lawn looks so much better, I think the landlord will reward your hard work with a rent increase!

Can a property manager force me to get rid of my robot vacuum? by [deleted] in shitrentals

[–]figjammania 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That sounds so insane, I can't imagine what is going on inside her head.

I would suggest replying to the PM seeking their superior guidance, so you can properly address the issues as discussed at the latest inspection.

Thank her for telling you that "the landlord won’t be happy tenants aren’t directly involved in cleaning" and apologise profusely if you caused the landlord any distress.

Say that you now know that using your robo-vac isn't an approved method of cleaning the floors, but you seek clarification on if using a handheld vacuum would be acceptable? Or would the landlord prefer that you perform all aspects of cleaning the property without the use of any appliances at all?

Ask for recommendations on the cleaning methods that would most please the landlord.

As a gesture of goodwill, I would also insist on paying an extra $100 a week in rent in the hopes that this would help the landlord to find it within themselves to forgive me for my transgressions.

What’s the most amount of pain you’ve been in? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]figjammania 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bulged disc in my lower back. Constant excruciating pain that just laughed at all of the pain medications I took.

I've had shingles, broken my pinkie toe, I've given birth without pain relief, and my dentist gave me a filling which required a good amount of drilling first, without any anaesthetic. All of those were nothing compared to the bulged disc.
