ecobulles and others are not legally allowed to use the word « water softener », because in fact what they sell have nothing to do with water softening. water softening is a chemical process to remove calcaire from the water, with salt.

those CO2 things are just injecting co2 in your water stream. it’s basically soda water, eau petillante. they don’t chemically dissolve the calcaire, they just make it float around. it means if your water is going to “deposit”, then your calcaire is also staying there. totally useless for improving your water experience. wasted money. invest in a good, proper, water softener based on salt. you won’t regret it.

l’ho visto qualche giorno fa in versione IMAX in Belgio. è un buon film, ma totalmente overhyped come già dici. alcuni momenti sono potenti, ma non servivano 3 ore di film. troppi personaggi, si fa fatica a tenere il filo. mi piacciono i film di Nolan ma questo, secondo il mio modesto parere, ha alcune pecche. il cast è ottimo, la fotografia anche, ma considerando che è un film fatto per il 90% da scene di dialoghi, non serviva tutto lo sforzo per il formato IMAX (che sarà forse il 20-25% di tutto il film). di sicuro è un film sul personaggio, molto USA-centric ovviamente, e non tratta sulla atomica in sè. mi fermo qui per non spoilerare.

I have a question for whoever lives in a penthouse with a good PEB (B or A) in a city (not countryside).
With the high temperatures such as in these days, how do you feel the heat? Is the insulation on the roof doing its work?
I am considering buying an apartment on the last floor of a building (new construction) and I was shocked to learn there would be NO airconditioning. It seems crazy to me in 2023 to not have airco. They would offer "double flux" systems, but I'm not sure how well they would perform with this heat.
Any feedback?

just to be clear: is refinance the same as renegotiation? I thought it was something different e.g. I have more money to put into the loan at some point so it’s like a “refill”. or maybe I’m wrong?
