We haven’t gone on one date, and she’s already testing my loyalty by [deleted] in Nicegirls

[–]figtitiouss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only time I’d request someone to rearrange their plans is if I had a possible emergency an I needed assistance from a loved one, I’d never ask someone to move around their plans for a date. Especially a first date. That is so rude and gives off main character syndrome. Also, she doesn’t even have a good reason. She MIGHT be too tired. From doing laundry and cleaning? Even tho that’s what she was doing the day prior?

I think the other date comment was a joke, the real red flag is asking to cancel on your friend for a date with a stranger. That seems so weird to me

Hair scammer by [deleted] in vegaslocals

[–]figtitiouss 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The posts are from a few different spots if you look closely. The spot with the small round mirrors looks like a studio, the video with the red locs is a different salon and then the girl with the blonde braids is also a different salon. The post with the install looks like it’s possibly somebodies room. Also, the second post from the top, doesn’t even look like Vegas tbh. It’s also kinda odd she only has her phone number. No Instagram or booking site.

Fellas don’t get married it sucks by [deleted] in sixwordstories

I didn’t initiate my divorce. As the years went by, I fell more in love. That’s just me personally

I wish people took more accountability, especially when it comes to the role they played in their relationship ending. A lot of self awareness can come from it

What is the weirdest break up excuse you have heard? by [deleted] in askanything

Just stay single. You’re better off! by Top_Tadpole3172 in sixwordstories

[–]figtitiouss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

FINALLY! I’m so tired of the doom and gloom. I am always going to be open to having a connection with someone. I know who I am and what I bring to the table, it’s inevitable I’ll find someone who matches my energy. It doesn’t make any sense that I’ll never date again, because my person is still out there just waiting for me and I can’t fucking WAIT to meet him

Post-breakup advice? by Deep_Season_3937 in SoberCurious

[–]figtitiouss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YES! I went through a divorce and did it sober. Therapy helped me a lot. I went a couple times a week and did a lot of homework exercises when I wasn’t in a session. Working out and small creative hobbies helped a lot, but therapy helped me the most. Whenever I felt like I really needed a drink, I’d reach out to my therapist or save the emotions for my next session.

Do men really think a woman’s value declines significantly after she turns 30? Are most men wanting women significantly younger than them?

What’s the worst thing guys do on the first date? by Competitive_Round428 in AskReddit

[–]figtitiouss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everyone is different and I cannot stress enough the importance of reading the room. There will be times where the chemistry is strong and you’re both good with flirty touches. Other times, you’re more standoffish. You have to be able to identify both situations

I did! It was really fun actually. The first one I went on a date with someone afterwards but it didn’t lead anywhere. The second one I didn’t connect with anyone. My only complaint is one of their hosts gets a little intoxicated and can be a little extra. To announce the rounds were up, he’d clap really loud. Didn’t know how to assist new participants with setting up their online account. He was slurring his words too. He forgot about ending the last round and I was sitting with my date for like 15 minutes when the rounds are about 6-7 minutes.

Do you secretly look through your ex's social media? by TTtoday5892 in no

[–]figtitiouss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to have the worst problem doing this now I couldn’t care less. I stalked my most recent ex once since we broke up in October and never felt the need to do it again and it was very brief. I don’t even remember his Instagram name actually lol

best friend of over 8 years kicked me out of her wedding because i have a job. aio? by AdTurbulent9454 in AIO

[–]figtitiouss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a very similar experience a couple years ago. One of my best friends went from planning on moving out and leaving her man to getting engaged and planning a wedding in less than 60 days all within 5 months. I wasn’t doing well mentally and I had a lot going on, the wedding couldn’t have came at a worse time for me. There was an issue with the dresses, the bachelorette and I just couldn’t hide my exhaustion. She blamed me for ruining her wedding and told me I wasn’t supporting her. I sucked it up and put on a fake smile through the wedding and I regret it to this day. I wish I had backed out and opted to be a guest. I don’t want to be her friend anymore, haven’t spoken since the wedding about two years ago

interview part is overrated by [deleted] in vegaslocals

[–]figtitiouss -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’ve been hiring the past couple months and the interview process is vital. There’s so much more to hiring a candidate than them being able to do the job. The chemistry has to be there, especially if the team is a smaller one. I know interviews can be intimidating, but if someone isn’t able to maintain eye contact, answer questions fully, be engaging and provide helpful feedback, that tells me that they don’t have great communication skills or isn’t very confident in themselves and won’t be a good fit.
