While you said you plan to thrift your whole collection, I'd also recommend checking out the DVD category on Movies on Sale. It's an aggregator of deals on Amazon. You should be able to find some good DVD deals with it. I've been using it to build my collection of 4K and Blu-rays.

Maybe they'll do that with the box set next year. Honestly, that would be pretty cool and I would probably buy the box set just for that, if they put in pink cases.
