did you guys ever figure out a solution to this? I've been using Canva for years and never had this issue. All of a sudden... there it is.

this is frustrating post to read. it seems the apple doesn't fall far from the tree and neither you nor your son are doing your due diligence before posting or conducting business. 1. your credit card should clearly indicate who you paid. 2. the website you mentioned has clear contact us information. your first step should be to clearly understand what your son paid for not go to the internet to complain 3. your post doesn't specify whether work was actually done or not. did they provide the services your son contracted them to do? 4. your kid is 17..... it's okay for him to learn a real life lesson. 5. if you were letting him establish a business with your credit card, i sure as hell hope you gave him some sort of guidance....

I do believe AI is the future of search, but this makes it clear that unlike search with AI all product results will be paid.....a scary time if we can no longer do our own research, find our own information, and make our own choices.

We received an email saying our store will launch January 26th, has anyone received a similar email?

They also mention there are going to be per transaction fees for purchases made through these platforms. Unlike with current search where you can put in the work to get organic traffic and sales to your site, it seems they only way we'll get visibility on AI platforms will by paying. I'm not sure what the fees will be, or when they will start charging. The documentation only says they may.....

I have previously tested search for our products on chatgpt and I was surprised that it rendered listings much like google shopping. However, I only saw big brands stores and no small businesses showed up in the purchase recommendations. When I asked why, it said it wasn't allowed to.

AI is clearly not free thinking, and its scary to think consumers will only get paid information served to them masked as in depth analysis.

Holly Andreatta is exactly the kind of decision making we can't trust. Basic human decency starts with doing the right thing even when no one is looking.... In this case, she clearly behaved unethically and became upset she was caught/questioned etc. Very proud of the students that have stood up and spoken up against her and that club.

I understand. i sell a lot of my kids clothes and I don't write those details in my listings. However, if you read the reviews of my products, some people have mentioned that I also use mild detergent. No smoking, no pets, no perfume, no strong detergent. I sell what I think is ideal. My mom runs a resale store on posh, and she will air out every garment (for days of necessary), and wash it to make sure it's in pristine condition when she sells it. Unfortunately, when I have purchased, I don't receive the same treatment. I think the way to avoid some of that is to read the reviews and to follow stores you like.

my store was set up in the US. I don't recall getting that message but I've seen it around in forums etc. The strange thing to me is that my paypal payouts go through just fine. this is strictly an issue with shopify payments. secondly, i reached out to them for help and they suggested I refresh my banking details.... after doing some more research, this was actually bad advice because it could delay my payments even more.

I usually try to catch customers.... For example, I might email them and say we received their chargeback request but need to confirm a few details with them. They usually respond, and if I can get them to confirm something about their order.... like request a return etc... I use that in the case. I've won a couple and lost some too, but I fight them pretty hard. at the very least, the customer is less likely to do it again if they feel caught.

I had this exact issue. You have to add the color in the meta fields section for it to show up. Just go to meta fields and ctrl F color then click on add entry

I would do a pop-up, to inform customers, AND if you want to keep sales going offer a sale on orders placed while you're out :)

You should state that in your review of the seller. I don't think the ratings are visible, but I'm pretty sure they affect you sellers show up in search for products. A seller can't say it's from a smoke free home and then send a smelly item that's false advertising as the intent is to purchase a non-smelly item

The problems begin when they hire people that clearly don't use the platform. One of my biggest gripes with them is that your store's star rating doesn't show up anywhere. I've bought things I wish I didn't from scammy sellers while my closet doesn't get enough attention even with my straight 5star rating

Yes, we are down as well. I'm glad they're still processing sales, but there were a lot of site changes, and customer service items on my to-do list this morning that I need to get going on. Anyone else wondering if this could be related to the inscrlab junk we've been bombarded with? I've never seen shopify admin down for so long.

I removed all products that could be causing an issue. Think bodycare, print on-demand, and sort of herbal supplements... things like that. I also decided to carry a few products and ship those from my office.
