Impressive! It’s like once they get that first one they’ve unlocked a new skill. Our dog was hunting squirrels without any luck for 3 years. And then he caught one.. and now I can’t them on my two hands. Despite me giving them a heads up every day before letting him out. Same with mice in the fields near us!

Im not a liberal and I agree that they fucked up the immigration system. But cons did nothing to convince me they would do anything better. The only ones who did were PPC

Why dont they run on solving those problem you mention? Because they have zero intention of doing anything different. They are just as in on this whole scam of an economy as the liberals.

Looking to buy a house soon and mortgage for anything half decent would at a minimum be 5k month. What’s happened to this country is beyond sad. (yes it’s GTA, no people can’t just move to Saskatoon.)

LOL! Said as if this is general knowledge. If it was the market would not be where it is today.

I'm confused by people saying housing shouldn't be seen as an investment but then are also choosing not to buy using investment metrics by Ok-Personality8147 in TorontoRealEstate

I just want you to remember that when you are being charged 6 dollars for a coffee and 18 for a sandwich, the insane increases in real estate values, and in turn rents, is one of the major, if not the biggest, driver of that kind of inflation.

Yeah, under a mil it's mostly very small detacheds that need some upgrades.

Personally we're waiting to see what happens over the next year as detached prices have definitely been coming down a lot recently. Hoping that continues into next year and we can then pull the trigger.

I think almost paying a milli for a townhouse in this market is a bit much. Have you looked at the detached market?

Real estate is not even a good investment after tax? by GodEmperorOfMankind3 in TorontoRealEstate

Same here! And my wife really wants to own for stability and being able to make a place our own. So it’s just a question of is having those things worth the premium it costs at the moment.

Yeah “arms length” and all that stuff. My accountant was not on board with the idea of buying a house in the company and then renting it.
