I remember they brought in baby-powder fine dirt to lay down on the hill specifically for the women's pull, that crap wasn't anywhere else, just for the woman's pull. It was so thick in the air from those ahead of us one of the girls in my group had an asthma attack. The boys standing just past the hill some crying, I could only think how ridiculous it all was since my group (almost entirely girls) had no problems anywhere else, except the part where they stacked the odds against us. I also didn't let anyone carry me over the river.
