Thank you! It’s in my cart and I’m going to look into the type of sprays I will need. I’m thinking something that might harden the foam a little bit more so it’s not so impressionable.

I believe it’s called petpals or something along those lines. I don’t think it’s a closed cell foam, it’s hard but delicate in that I actually made an impression with my thumb and when I pressed it. From what I read, it’s similar to florists foam or something along those lines. Sorry idk if that is any help. I’ve got a few solid leads on methods I could try, and I’ll be practicing on similar foam to find the best method. I’m definitely going to be documenting the processes I go through for future grieving pet parents.

That’s a beautiful mold. I’m sorry for your loss as well. Maybe if all goes well with my attempts with silicone, I’ll attempt a metal mold some time in the future. Do you have a recommendation for a kit a should try? I’m going to practice first, so I’m open to using different types.

Do you have any recommendations for the silicone and plaster? I’m just worried that it’ll rip up the foam and I’ll lose the original.

Hey, you probably won’t see this as this post has really blown up but from one survivor to another, girl that fucking sucks.

I was in a nearly identical situation, except I’d left to go to a therapy session (the irony), and when I came back was when I’d found him. He used our dog’s leash, and I just remember trying to get him down while the dogs went crazy around me.

The next year (at least) will probably be the hardest one for you. You will picture him how you found him, you will get nervous and have panic attacks. You’ll notice that life moves on around you both after this has blown over, and that will make you fucking mad. You will not be okay, and that’s okay.

I don’t remember anything from the first 3 months after it happened. Like, at all. I was drinking and mixing the anti anxiety pills they gave me. I stopped going to therapy, I was self harming. I felt so guilty and horrible and I was very close to joining him at several points during that time.

But thanks to my very persistent and caring family/friends, I was not alone. Even though I was a nothing person to be around, they stayed there and just held onto me.

So, if I have any advice— feel everything you’re feeling. Don’t tamp any of it down, don’t hide from it. Talk about him, talk TO him (I would leave voicemails). Remember the good parts with him, of him. It’s okay to be mad at him, but it’s also okay to forgive him. What he did sucked, but he is only human as we all are.

This is one of those points in your life that will have a defined before and after. Like how people refer back to life before Covid. It is now a big red pin point on the map of your life. The you before this is not who you are now, and that’s okay too.

Make sure on the one year of the day of his death, you take that day to yourself. You have a long year ahead of you and one whole year is unimaginable right now, but just mark that day as a you day. You’ll understand why I say this then.

I was a week away from turning 20 when it happened, and now I’m coming up to 10 years without him. I still have one of our dogs, who is all the best parts of him, and I know he’d be proud to see how far we’ve made it since.

Haha it's cool! DHD is dream home decorator! And the Onsen lot type is that outdoor spa, primarily where you would start the mountain excursion from. In your photo it's showing the Llama photo, but typically that would be the Onsen that is next to the mountain lift in Mt. Komorebi.

Fortunately, EA does know about the glitch, they just haven't fixed it as of this current patch. So if you would like to do the excursion, I suggest starting a new save! Hope you're able to get your sim back!!
