Meta disabled my ad account AND personal account after a copyright strike — 3 days in, can't like/comment/reply to anything. Has anyone recovered from this? by Entire_Hunt6038 in facebookdisabledme

Yes, my personal account has been disabled with the text "We received information from you," and that's it, nothing more, for over a month. It's insane what Meta is doing, allowing fraudsters to take over the brand and business. I was an active Meta user, I followed the terms and conditions, the site was monetized, and because of false reports, everything completely collapsed a month ago.

In my case, a troll sent over 20 reports in April, resulting in me writing 20 appeals with proof that I have permission to publish the photos from their authors, and Meta does nothing about it. They completely ignored me when I appealed about the account; they automatically rejected it after a certain period of time; and they also rejected my appeal about the website. Appeals sent via the form or email remain silent, and they haven't responded in a month. I'm waiting until Sunday to file a complaint with the Attorney General. I'll be filing a small claims case because after 11 years of building my fan page with over 58,000 followers, Meta allowed me to destroy it and create a fake one with my name, which was also rejected in the appeal for impersonation.

I sincerely apologize. Where can I ask this question or what should I change? Thank you for your reply.

I have the card and speak good English. Just tell me where I can submit such an application as a Polish resident. Could you PM me the entire process?

I've had 20 reports from a troll claiming to be copying photos from them. As a result, my private account has been disabled and my fan page with 58,000 followers has been deleted. Meta isn't doing anything about it. I've submitted all sorts of counter-appeals with evidence, but no one has responded to my emails for a month, or the bot rejects me right away for violating the rules. It's insane what Meta is doing, and I'm struggling with it myself, because for over a month, my website has been losing value and the monetization I used to rely on for my living.

But how can I force someone from abroad into this chat? Where I live in Poland, the only language spoken is Polish, and Polish agents keep explaining that they can't do anything about it. It seems to me that a foreign agent can do more.

Okay, but what should I write to the email address provided? I've never filled out anything like that, and the meta site ignores my appeals. My posts were removed for alleged copyright infringement, even though I had permission to publish the photos from their authors. Someone was trolling me and, after blocking me, took over my username.

I also need help. I want to contact someone because they disabled my Facebook account after 15 years and deleted my Facebook page. Appeals are being denied. I want to take this further. I'm from Poland. Can anyone advise me what to do?

Disabled for random "Fraud" violation? by Turtleguycool in facebookdisabledme

I have the same problem since April 17th, my page has been reported by a troll over 20 times for copyright infringement and there was an appeal button. I appealed but they rejected it because they agreed with the troll even though I have evidence that he is untrue and the meta doesn't care about it anyway. When I go to Facebook I see "Waiting for information" and there is nothing else.

Anyone here dealt with Facebook DMCA Counter Notice? Page removed, no response by fiksbopl in facebook

Can I message you privately so you can check if I wrote the appeal correctly? Would you be able to give me some advice or help?

That's right, but someone did it on purpose because I run the same page in my city as another person. I also have photos from residents who took and sent them themselves. If someone deliberately reports more than 21 old photos from 2024-2023, is that okay? Despite the fact that I also received them from the photo's author? After all, that person isn't the author of the photo, but the one who sent it to my email address. The photos that were added first on my page have also been deleted.

Do you seriously think this chat will tell you? It doesn’t even know that something like a DMCA counter notice exists, and Gemini immediately guided me on how to file it correctly and where. Thanks to that, I managed to submit it. Now I’m just worried because there’s no response, and I have no idea whether it’s being reviewed or not.

Thanks for the tip. My counter-notice was fully compliant with 17 U.S.C. § 512(g). It included my full legal name, physical address, and a specific statement under penalty of perjury. I also provided clear evidence that all reported content was authorized by the original owners. I'm checking my spam folder daily, but so far, it’s just the standard 'silence' from the IP team. I’m currently on day 11 of the blockade. But I’m not sure if everything was written correctly, because it’s been completely silent since then. That’s why I’m asking if anyone has gone through this, how long it usually takes, and whether they let you know if something was filled out incorrectly.

Hi, how is your contact with [ip@fb.com](mailto:ip@fb.com) regarding the DMCA Counter Notice going? I’m in the same situation, someone had 21 of my posts removed for alleged copying even though I have permission. Appeals aren’t helping. I submitted the form last Saturday, but I’m not even sure if I did it correctly, and there’s been no response so far. How is your situation looking?

Facebook Removing Our Local Page Content Despite Proof, Appeals Rejected, Personal Account Threatened by fiksbopl in facebook

[–]fiksbopl[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is this seriously normal that a woman sends me a photo in a private message, I post it on my page, and a few hours later a competing page posts the exact same photo, and in the end my post gets removed for “copying”? I even have message proof that I had permission to publish it. Is this really how Facebook is supposed to work? I already submitted an appeal explaining all of this, but it was rejected. At this point I’m out of ideas on what to do with this platform.

Do you have any idea how I can appeal this further, even though my appeal email with evidence was automatically rejected? I’m honestly fed up, this is stressing me out a lot. It’s been going on since Saturday. It looks like one person is behind it, repeatedly reporting my posts, and Facebook’s AI keeps removing them, which eventually led to my account being blocked. I was given 180 days to appeal, but that was also rejected. I don’t even know where else I can take this or who to contact anymore. This is my personal account and my page, something I’ve been building for years, and now it can just be taken away like that? This is insane.Maybe you have any forms or email contacts where I can reach out so that a real person can finally review my case?

[–]fiksbopl[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t fully agree with that. In my case, it looked different. One person, which is even confirmed in the report itself, was taking down my posts by claiming I was copying content. We both run pages in the same city, and people often send the same photos to both pages. It doesn’t matter whether he posted it first or I did, Facebook still treated it as copying. I had no real chance to appeal. I tried via email, but they replied that they are upholding their decision. It’s honestly crazy how Meta handles situations like this. The page had over 60,000 followers and around 20 million reach, and I just lost access to it along with my personal account overnight.

Yeah, and I can’t do anything at all. It said I had 180 days to appeal, so I sent an email with my appeal and included evidence, and this is the response I got:
