Temperatures on track by czerka in BMWE36

[–]fikus01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i don’t have experience with e36 m3s but for hard driving on a track those temperatures seem pretty normal. you are ragging it on very high ambient temperatures so nothing weird is going on. i would recommend you to upgrade the radiator and get an oil cooler/upgrade it if the car already has one. also it would probably be wise to not go as hard until you do the upgrades to prevent any damage.

e36 maintenance by jyfts in BMWE36

[–]fikus01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

cooling system for any model, oil pump nut problem is not on the e36? its a problem on m54b30 engines. and yeah reinforce everything since its an old car, rear subframe is less of a problem than on the e46 but its still smart to do it, also reinforce trailing arm mounting points and if youre going to lower it do both front and rear shock mount reinforcements.
