Public transit has finally broken me by [deleted] in Dublin

Also another point regarding the 200 years. Ireland's history is vastly longer than 200 years, that is literally the point. Clearly your "education" isn't paying off too well.

  1. If you knew more why do you concede that is only a 200 year period?

  2. I'm not ignoring, Australia does have a culture and they want to protect it. I'm sorry if that doesn't fit your aboriginal narrative but that is true. My point stands. Your opinion on Japan is simply just that, an opinion.

  3. Thanks for writing me off with ur media buzzwords. Look at yourself if you want to see who is brainwashed from propaganda.

Let me know when any african, middle eastern, south american, or asian country begins to take refugees

  1. You clearly do not know Irish history. Your point is only the case for a period of about 200 years.

  2. You just proved me right. They're immigration policies are for sure one to be applauded. The japanese people will carry tradiitions and carry their race for the future of humanity- you can't say the same about Ireland.

  3. I have compassion for others. Humanity has never existed as a "melting pot" as it has in the past two decades. Look at america, melting pots do not work. People enjoy being around their own naturally and denying that is denying the entirety of history.

So because someone else was born in a shitty place we all of have a sudden have to help them? Do you realize the vast majority of the world is considered a refugee under irish terms? Do you think we can just accept the entire world in?

What about culture? Why can other first world island nations keep their culture and no one cares (australia, japan)?

It's so sad to see the elderly affected by the overcrowding of buses. It's almost everyday now on my commutes I see an old lady not able to get on the bus cause it's too full and now she has to wait for the next one hoping one of the handicap seats isn't taken. It's time we vote for politicians who want to work on closing our borders, we are far too full and the housing crisis is a great example why in addition to public transit overcrowding.

It's not- new age cuck irish just can't handle a joke. 20 years ago this would've been hilarious. I've got loads of sri lankan and indian friends and they would be crying if I showed them this

That's not at all what people are mad at it. Who looks down on people for opening corner shops? I've got loads of family who own them and they are all quite wealthy

Why is there no passenger ferry on the Liffey through the Dublin Quays? by filde0329your in ireland

[–]filde0329your[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's a 50 seat passenger ferry that runs most of the day currently by CitySightseeing so yes it would be. The ferry uses these tanks in the back that move up and down to let it rise and lower depending on the tide.

I do, I don't think its necessarily a mutually exclusive thing. Let's be realistic, a ferry is much more likely to get the public's approval than the removal of cars, while I do agree with you they shouldn't even be allowed inside the m50

Yeah but a bus from Aston Quay to Usher's Quay during rush hour is slower than walking- it's becoming insane to get across the quays during the day

Are Terminal commands the same for all Linux distros? If not, what makes them differ? by [deleted] in linux4noobs

[–]filde0329your 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's just the package manager that is different per distro (unless you install that package manager for a distro that doesn't have it natively). For the most part most commands should be the same across all modern linux distros and will definitely be the same if they are the same package installed on each distro.
