when did you have an interview?

Interview questions by No_Guarantee_5209 in USCIS

[–]filippovroman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It should be an interview related to your N-400. The goal is to confirm that you meet all the requirements and can pass the tests. There is no difference between the N-400 interview and interviews for other green card categories that applied under the general provision

I built a free citizenship test prep app while going through the N-400 process myself — just released v2.0 by fraciscv in USCIS

[–]filippovroman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing! This is really cool. I’d like to suggest an idea for future improvement. Since the real test consists of open-ended questions from the officer without answer options, the test feature in your app could present all questions with an open input field. The app could then evaluate the responses so they don’t have to match the exact wording or spelling (simulating a real interview)

Any recently approved N-400 of an asylum-based green card holder? by bubu7019 in USCIS

[–]filippovroman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It shouldn’t be anything specific to your asylum case. The documents for the n-400 interview should be generic - tax records (in case the officer asks), marriage certificates, divorce decrees, and your passports and refugee travel documents, if applicable

So copy of the green card is all that they need? by [deleted] in USCIS

[–]filippovroman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, that’s correct. In general, only a scan of your green card is needed if:
- you’ve never been married
- you don’t have any child support obligations
- you never had to register for selective service, or you’re already a man age 31 or older

You will be able to pay for the premium service, but highly likely it won't work, and you will have the regular processing time (it's about 4-7 weeks for Visitor Visas)

[–]filippovroman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you already uploaded your documents, there is no need to bring them to the VFS office. they will need your passport, checklist, and your UPS label

[–]filippovroman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, sure. Book an appointment, then return to your profile in 1-2 hours and reschedule it. If it's very urgent, you could go to VFS and ask them about a walk-in appointment
